However, the new batch of Google maps doesn't stop at this step. Another update includes a feature that the company has been teasing since May/May 2018. This is group planning, thanks to which you can share your favorite places marked on Google Maps with your friends or family. With this gadget you can discover, rate and share new places like bars, restaurants and other providers that offer different services.

The function can be used by holding your finger on a given place on the map for a long time, which then opens the possibility to share or invite friends you have in the list. The entire group you share this feature with can view similar sites and rate them based on the "likes" Google stores in the system. This whole fact is simply made available to people who like discovering new gourmet experiences and everything that revolves around food. All members of a given group can also share their own ideas or simply share restaurant suggestions with other users.
Group browsing is just one of the innovations that Google has implemented in its navigation application. Others include, for example, the "For You" function, thanks to which you appka will automatically recommend new places based on your preferences and visited locations. You can then arrange them from best to worst based on scoring. The company is also working on an augmented reality interface that should complement Google's Street View map mode. With this feature, we will be able to track brands in the real world simply by using the smartphone camera. According to the company's statement, new functions should be added gradually, but this does not apply to the aforementioned AR. This element requires a little longer testing, so the final arrival of the official version is not yet announced.
