Last month took place in TestFlighte beta testing the upcoming Steam Link application from Valve. Feedback from many testers and experts in application orkus highlighted the beta as an excellent communicator between the user and the Steam account, what's more, on the screens of devices with iOS it worked really perfectly. Unfortunately, business conflicts between Valve and Appquarry, the reason for which was the unofficial implementation, culminated in the rejection of this project at iOS. A negative view has also become a stumbling block Applu on the testing itself, since it was not included in it App review.
However, we are not long before that WWDC they could see a change in the company's internal rules and terms and conditions Apple aimed at developers and application developers v App Store. A glimmer of hope for Valve's Steam Link finally showed itself. How will this controversial catch-up between AppQuarry and Valve to develop in the near future?

A few days ago, Valve released an updated version of the Steam Link app to testers TestFlight, which, in addition to a few UI improvements (like a network performance test when you first pair your computer), also removed the ability to purchase anything through the app itself. This step was taken on an initiative Applu, due to the new directive on terms of use. This is guideline 4.2.7 part C which reads as follows: "Any UI that appears in the client does not resemble the display iOS or App Store, does not provide a store-like user interface and does not have the ability to view, select and purchase software that is not pre-owned or licensed by the user."
When you connect to your computer using the Steam Link app and browse the store, you will no longer find the button that was previously used to purchase said game content. This has changed to an option that says "Available for purchase from PC". But the interesting thing is that you can still interact with the Steam Marketplace using the funds you already have in your Steam Wallet. From a technical point of view, the Steam Link application is fully compliant with the company's new rules Apple, as it is possible to buy funds for already owned games and not the games and software itself.
