The much-anticipated product has just started selling. iPhone X and analysts are already speculating about what the individual models will be like next year. Leading analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believes that Apple will introduce three devices again next year, specifically OLED iPhone X with 5,8-inch and 6,5-inch diagonals and LCD iPhone with a diagonal of 6,1 inches.

Kuo thinks that all three devices will get the design of the current iPhone X, that is, they will have a display across the entire front surface and a tiny strip at the top with the TrueDepth system. He also expects the display of the second generation of the 5,8-inch iPhone X to have 458 pixels per inch (PPI) like the first generation, i.e. the same resolution of 1 x 125 pixels. Whereas the bigger brother with a diagonal of 2 inches will have roughly 436 to 6,5 PPI.

Concept iPhone X Plus from iDropNews:

The Apple trio is rounded off by a 6,1-inch LCD iPhone with 320 to 330 PPI, which will be aimed at the mid-range smartphone market, with its price expected to start at $649 to $749.

"The two new OLED models target the high-end market, while the new TFT-LCD model targets the low-to-mid-range market. We believe that the main difference between the displays of the two new OLED models is the size, which will meet the different needs of users in the high-end market. The new TFT-LCD model will differ from the OLED models mainly in hardware and design specifications (for example, it will have a lower PPI)," Kuo said in his report.

Kuo didn't mention at all in the report how much the 6,5-inch should cost. iPhone X Plus and smaller 5,8-inch iPhone X, which currently starts at $999. The very good news is that the suppliers of individual componefor iPhone X have overcome all production issues, so next year will not be a scenario similar to this year. Kuo believes that next year all three new models will go on sale at the same time and without a delay of several weeks.
