The longest possible battery life of the iPhone on a single charge is a requirement of almost every user. Apple Although every year they try to optimize the software as much as possible to extend battery life, sometimes even that doesn't work. nestUsually, it is necessary to reach for a powerbancor after a handy package with an external battery. It even produces one itself Apple, but if you want to add, for example, wireless charging to your iPhone in addition to a battery, then you should look to the Mophie brand.
Every year, Mophie boasts a case with an external battery for the latest iPhones. Last year was no exception. Mophie introduced the packaging Pack Air pro iPhone 7 i iPhone 7 Plus, which was a real success. For the first time, in addition to the battery, it will enrich iPhone wireless charging. Along with the case, magnetic holders also saw the light of day on the table a into the ventilation grid Mophie Charge Force. All three products recently reached our editorial office for testing, so in today's review we will summarize how well they have served us for several weeks and what their added values or shortcomings are.
Juice packaging Pack Air
Design
Let's start with the case itself. Pack Air consists of two parts. First, you insert the bottom part, which makes up approximately 90% of the package, into iPhone, which connects the case to the phone via Lightning konewhich. The upper part with the cutout for the camera can then be easily clicked onto the lower part, making the case one piece. All buttons, edges, the back including the camera and actually the display are protected, as the case slightly extends beyond the edges of the phone and thus protects the display. minialmost before scratching.
Pack Air It is quite robust, but given the presence of a fairly large battery and electronics for wireless charging, the dimensions are more than good. The weight is also respectable, as the package weighs 98 grams, which, by the way, is still 5 grams less than the Smart Battery Case from Applu. On the other hand, the robustness of the case ensures that the phone is protected in the case even in the event of a fall. The bottom edge is slightly elongated, due to the presence of the microUSB port, which is located at the very bottom of the case, and nakoneor because of the speaker and microphone vents, which are directed upwards. However, this does not detract from the quality at all, on the contrary, I dare say that the speaker is slightly more sonorous with the cover. The back is almost clean, except for the four diodes located at the bottom and the button for turning the power on/off and checking the battery capacity in the cover.
Charging
But now let's discuss the topic that probably interests most of you the most - charging, both the phone and the case itself. I will admit that I tested the charging really thoroughly and it took me several hours of testing and research. The good news is that unlike Apple Smart Battery Case is at Juice Pack Air charges the phone first and then the case itself. In the case of a case from Applu charges both devices at the same time, which was a complaint from a significant percentage of users. Another big plus is that you can basically choose when your phone will be charged through the case. The button on the back can be used to turn the case on or off, so you can have iPhone placed in the case even just for the sake of protection. Only when you decide that your phone needs a recharge, you hold down the button and charging begins.
Pack Air in the version for iPhone 7 has a battery with a capacity of 2525 mAh, which, based on my testing, is enough for exactly one full charge of the iPhone 7. The completely discharged phone managed to charge the case to 100% in 2 hours and 17 minutes, which, by the way, is as fast as if you iPhone They charged it via the iPad adapter. However, it should be noted that I was on the phone the whole time. iPhone I didn't use it and I even had airplane mode activated. In another case, I managed to iPhone I was able to charge it from 3% to 99% through the case, but the LEDs on the back indicated to me before charging that the battery was fully charged in the case. maximum. NakoneI found it worthwhile not tochat charge the case all night to really charge the battery to 100%. Unfortunately, Mophie does not provide an app with the case that allows you to check the exact battery capacity in the case at any time, which is a big shame in my opinion and one of the two major drawbacks of the product.
The values when charging the case itself are also interesting. I also performed several tests here and got the following numbers. When charging the case via a regular 5W iPhone adapter (5V, 1A), the case was charged to full capacity (all four LEDs were lit) in 3,5 hours. If I reached for a 12W iPad adapter (5V, 2,4A), the case was charged in less than 3 hours. It is a bit of a shame that Mophie does not include any adapter with the case, so you should properly charge the case via a computer USB port that is capable of supplying maxat least 500 mA, so the case would charge significantly slower. The package only includes a 90cm microUSB cable, which brings us to the second disadvantage, which is the absence LightningIt's a shame that Mophie couldn't incorporate it into the packaging Lightning port like some other manufacturers. On the other hand, given the presence of wireless charging, this small shortcoming could be forgiven.
Mophie mounts Charge Force
However, in order to use wireless charging at all, you need to purchase one of the two stands or the Mophie Charge Force pad. We had the honor of testing both stands, one of which is intended exclusively on the table for example toancthe first and the second then Into car. They both work on the principle of attachment by means of a magnet, which in my opinion is absolutely ideal, and the whole system really suited me extremely well.
Of the two stands tested, the car vent mount definitely seemed more practical to me. To be honest, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Rubber packThe clips that attach it to the grille are adapted to all types of car vents and hold really firmly. During several weeks of testing, I never once nestIt is unlikely that the holder in the grille would move even a millimeter or even fall out. The magnet also holds the phone caseoneIt's really solid and I've never had a problem with my phone falling out of the holder, but it's easy to remove immediately when leaving the car.
Along with the holder, you get a 90cm microUSB/USB cable from Mophie and even a 12W to 15W cigarette lighter adapter (5V, 2,4 to 3A). You can connect the cable either to the holder's microUSB port and charge the case wirelessly or directly to the phone case, which I personally recommend because it will charge the case faster. The holder is able to deliver power to the iPhone via wireless technology. maxat least 5V at 1A (same as the iPhone adapter), while the cigarette lighter adapter delivers up to 5V at 3A, which is even more than the iPad charger.
The desk stand works and looks basically the same as the vent mount. The only difference is the mounting style, where the desk version has a ball on the back that you attach the mount to the rest of the stand. The ball allows you to adjust the mount to any angle that suits you. maxYou can also attach the entire stand to the table in one place. The bottom part is equipped with a special adhesive surface, which you can also wash at any time.
This time you will only receive a microUSB/USB cable for the stand, the adapter is unfortunately not hidden in the package. In addition, the 90 cm cable is quite short in this case, as it usually needs to be dragged behind the table down to the socket or all the way to the ground to the electrical hub. An extra 20 to 30 centimeters would certainly not hurt.
Summary
As you probably already knew from the lines and paragraphs above, overall I liked the products from Mophie. Especially the case Pack Air a Mophie Charge Force ventilation grill holder. In my opinion, this is a perfect pair that I always liked to use in the car and was absolutely ideal for long trips. In the vast majority of cases, I had the navigation on my phone and could comfortably follow it practically right in front of me and my phone was also charging wirelessly. As soon as I reached my destination, I simply took my phone off the holder and it was 100% charged. iPhone so did the case, so I was sure that my phone would last me for the rest of the day, and even the whole second day. So if you yourself need to iPhoneIf you've got a two-day battery life and you'd like to be able to charge it wirelessly, then Juice is the Pack Air absolutely ideal. If you often use your phone as a navigation system in your car, then there's probably nothing to worry about, you'll quickly get used to the magnetic attachment and you won't want anything else.
- Mophie Juice Case Pack Air you can purchase here

- You can buy the Mophie Charge Force desktop stand right here
For that price, I'd rather buy the original Apple
Magnetic holders are quite expensive, but Mophie cases are better than the original, they usually have a higher capacity and can be bought in many e-shops much cheaper. So the price per mAh works out to almost half of the original extra.
