The popular racing game F1 2016 from developer Codemasters will be released on macOS. The game was released in August last year for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4, and after a few months it also reached mobile platforms. The macOS release is due to developers from Feral Interactive, who announced that the game should be available on April 6th and will use Metal technology.

The game will feature all 21 tracks that the 2016 World Championship took place on. You will also be able to try out the new career mode, which returned after an absence in 2015. I personally recommend the career mode, it has seen a significant shift from the 2010-2014 years. For example, in training you can complete partial tasks, which allows you to improve your car. Previously, in training you could only learn the track or skip it immediately. The game also features Safety Car and Virtual Safety CarThe presence of all teams and pilots is a matter of course. You will certainly be pleased with the possibility of taking a training lap or manual starts.

To run the game on your Mac, you will need at least: Intel Core i5 2.8GHz, macOS 10.12.4, 8GB RAM and 2GB NVIDIA 680/AMD R9 280M/Intel Iris 540. Recommended system requirements are: Intel Core i7 3.3GHz, macOS 10.12.4, 16GB RAM and 4GB AMD R9 395X or better. F1 2016 will be available via Feral Store, Steam for $59.99 and on Mac App Store for $49.99. You can pre-order the game on the official website Feral Interactive.
