Although it looked like a relationship Apple and Yahoo! improved, in the new operating system iOS 8 doesn't look like that anymore. Apple namely, it changed the source of information for the Weather application and from now on takes information from The Weather Channel. The management is interesting, especially considering that Yahoo! and Apple they apparently collaborated on the development of the new Weather app iOS 7. The design of the two applications is very similar, but the Yahoo! Weather shows photos from specific locations in the background.

With the new information supplier, the design of the application has now also changed, but it still retains elements of z iOS 7. On the plus side, the app now shows up to 9 days of forecast, whereas Yahoo was only 5 days ahead. We also added the "Summary" item at the bottom of the application. Whether we will be able to choose between two suppliers in the future or Apple definitively dropped the Yahoo! as from a weather service provider, we don't know yet. In recent months, we have heard that Yahoo! wants to close with Apple an agreement that Yahoo! served as a native search engine in iOS 8.
