For many of us, this Christmas will be...oneare in the spirit of the expected Sony PS4 console, which will replace the current PS3 and bring a processor ten times more powerful than that offered by the current version. Given that the Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One will bring almost comparable performance, the choice is whether to buy a console from Microsoftat or from Sony mainly about personal preferences and the features or services that the console will offer. In the case of PS4, we will also see one feature that users will welcome iOS devices or some selected Android tablets and smartphones.
One of the main reasons why I bought a PS Vita was the PS4 Link service, and of course I was even more delighted when, just a few hours after purchasing the PS Vita, Sony issued an official press release introducing the PS4 Link service, designed not only for the PS Vita, but also for iPhone, iPad and some Android tablets and smartphones. However, what is pleasing is the fact that so far, what iOS You can fully use the display of the device, you will still need to have a controller in your hand to control the game you are playing, which of course is not possible with the PS Vita and you can control the game directly on the Vita.
The PS4 Link feature will offer the ability to use an iPad, iPhone or PS Vita as a second screen. This option was first introduced by Nintendo with its console Nintendo Wii U, whose review you can read right here. This means that while the game itself will take place directly on the console, you will have access to, for example, the character's inventory or the map on your iPad. Of course, you will also have the option to display on the second screen, for example, the current scoreboard or the number of bullets and equipment for games like Battlefield 4.
A second display in conjunction with a PlayStation device will offer interesting possibilities. Camera and The Playroom, a game that aims to offer virtual reality for PS4 users. Among other things, you will be able to draw an object directly on the screen of your device, which will then appear as a 3D object directly in the game and surround you thanks to PlayStation Camera like in virtual reality. Sony PlayStation app App screen, will be available in the USA on November 13, 11 and in Europe on November 2013, 22. The console itself will be available in the Czech Republic/Slovakia on December 11, 2013.
