Today, the well-known foreign portal DigiTimes again published its claim that Apple nesta sufficient number of pieces can be produced immediately iPhone 5S and thus satisfy the demand for it. Citing his industry sources, he claims that Apple had a problem with the production of the fingerprint sensor, and its mass production had to be moved by several months. It is not so excluded that the company ships only 3-4 million units in the third quarter iPhone 5S, instead of the planned 10 million.

TSMC and Xintec were supposed to start mass production of the sensors as early as May/May, but production had to be postponed due to production issues. Sources at DigiTimes claim that mass production of the fingerprint sensors will not begin until the end of this month, and Apple intends to present its phone on September 10. Again, it is so possible that Apple will initially report a shortage of manufactured units iPhone 5S, but that should be fixed in the last quarter, when Apple ships 28 to 30 million devices.
