Although it is not the absolute top of the line among mobile processors, the generational leap represents a huge step forward for a compact speaker.
Thanks to its higher performance, it offers HomeUnder mini 2 advanced features Siri AI, making it the first device in the family Apple Home with support for new AI features. The speaker will also be closely connected to the new hub HomeView and will serve as an extended arm for voice control and synchronized music playback throughout the home.

Price and availability
The question mark still hangs over the price tag. In June Apple raised the price of the existing HomeOn the floor mini from $99 to $129 due to higher memory pricesonent, which suggests that the second generation is likely to benefit from this higher starting amountoneAs for the release date, Mark Gurman states that HomeUnder mini 2 together with the new Apple TV 4K will hit store shelves on October 30. Home hub HomeView should follow around mid-November. It was rumored that Apple he had HomeUnder mini even a new one Apple TV been ready for quite some time. The reason for the delay was the unfinished Siri, which will then, in my opinion, be the reason why the new HomeUnder mini will not be officially sold in the Czech Republic. This is the case with the first generation until now and if it weren't for stores like Alza etc., it would be practically impossible to buy this speaker here.
