This smart air fryer promises an innovative approach to food preparation, combining large capacity with compact dimensions and a number of smart features. Whether it can fulfill these promises in practice is something we will focus on in detail in this review.

This capacity is ideal for large families or when organizing gatherings, as it allows you to prepare large pieces of meat or truly above-standard portions of fries. The real step forward, however, is the flexibility this basket offers. The included divider allows you to quickly divide one large space into two separate zones, each with a capacity of 4,3 liters. This solution elegantly eliminates a common shortcoming of conventional air fryers, namely the inability to prepare the main dish and side dish at the same time and separately.

This smart function can synchronize the cooking time in both separate parts of the basket so that cooking is completed at the same time. The result is a complete and freshly served meal without the need to wait. There is also a Match function, which allows you to set both separate baskets to an identical program.

Cosori TwinFry Compact has a total capacity ofonem 2700 W, a value that guarantees a quick start-up and stable temperature maintenance. This performance is ensured by an innovative system that includes a total of 4 heating elements.
Thanks to the presence of heating coils for both upper and lower heating, the fryer can develop even heat zones very quickly. This double-sided heating system brings two major advantages to the user. Firstly, there is no need to preheat the appliance before cooking. Secondly (and this is even more essential for cooking comfort), there is no need to turn the food over or remove the basket and shake it during cooking.
MaxThe minimum temperature that the fryer can reach has also been increased to 240 °C. This above-standard temperature expands the possibilities of using the device and allows the fryer to easily handle grilling. The fryer does not always use the 2700 W power input to the full, but intelligently and precisely doses it according to the selected program, thus maintaining optimal energy efficiency. Compared to baking in a classic oven, the fryer heats a much smaller space, which leads to noticeable savings in electricity and costs; the manufacturer states up to 61% savings.
Programs and preparation options
The fryer is controlled via a backlit control panel, which ensures good readability. Pro To simplify food preparation, the fryer offers 5 universal preset programs. These programs cover a wide range of classic food preparation methods. Users can comfortably bake meat or vegetables, bake sweet and savory dishes, use the fryer for grilling, classic frying (including preparing frozen meals) or heating food. The functions also include a timer that can be set from 1 minute to 4 hours and has an automatic shut-off function. The fryer's temperature range is adjustable from 35 to 240 °C.
The manufacturer emphasizes a healthier way of preparing food that is more gentle compared to traditional frying in oil. Cosori claims up to 95% reduction in oil consumption. Pro Imagine, crispy fries can be prepared in this appliance using just one tablespoon of oil.
Materials and maintenance
The material used for the cooking surfaces has a fundamental influence on the durability and ease of maintenance of the appliance. The baskets and the supplied grill plates (so-called crisper plates) are equipped with a premium ceramic coating. This solution was chosen as a more durable alternative to common non-stick materials such as traditional Teflon, which can be prone to scratches and gradual wear.
According to the manufacturer, the ceramic surface retains its properties even with intensive daily use and is characterized by being remarkably smooth. The perfectly smooth surface effectively prevents raw materials from sticking, which greatly facilitates the cleaning process, which should only be a matter of seconds. Pro maxFor maximum user comfort, all removable parts (i.e. basket, crisper plates, container and divider) are fully dishwasher safe.
When testing this fryer, I didn't do any "big events" and focused on the classics of grilled meat and baked potatoes. The result was excellent. The meat was juicy, prepared very quickly. Whether it was chicken breast, steak or salmon, the result was great. Of course, you need to keep an eye on the meat. Smaller pieces were a bit dry.
Construction and accessories
The overall dimensions of the fryer are 28,1 × 48,2 × 33,9 cm and the weight is 8 kg. Despite the large capacity of the basket, the manufacturer tried to maintain the compact dimensions of the entire device so that the fryer fits into all kitchens and practically only takes up the floor space of the basket itself.
The Cosori TwinFry fryer was designed in California and developed by a dedicated team of Cosori professional chefs. This team also contributed to the creation of an international cookbook, which contains exclusive recipes designed specifically for this model. The cookbook is physically included in the package, while its Czech translation is available for download online at www.cosori.cz or via QR code.
