If you use YouTube on your iPad, you may have come across a rather strange issue in recent days. When you play a video in full screen mode, some of the video information can disappear from the app. However, Google is already aware of the bug and, according to its statement, is actively addressing it.

After the video, its title and comments disappear.
The error mainly occurs after you play a video in full screen mode and then switch back to normal view. In this case, YouTube may stop displaying the video title, description, and even the comments section.
According to Google, the issue is primarily affecting iPads, but it's possible that it could affect other devices as well. However, the company did state in a post on the YouTube community that it's aware of the issue and is currently investigating it.
The good news is that some users have reported that this is not a permanent issue. The information may reappear after you close YouTube completely and reopen it, for example. Another user has come up with an even stranger solution. If your iPad is turned landscape, the video information may disappear. When you turn the tablet to portrait mode, it reappears. When you then return it to landscape mode, it disappears again.

The timing is also interesting. The bug may be related to YouTube version 21.32.4 for iPad, which was released last week. Some users have reported that they have been experiencing the issue for over a week. Of course, this doesn't automatically mean that this version caused the bug, but the timing is definitely worth noting.
Google hasn't said when exactly it will release the fix, so if you're using YouTube on your iPad and suddenly notice that the title, description, or comments are missing after watching a video, you don't have to immediately start looking for a problem with the iPad itself.
