Lord of the Rings fans have another reason to rejoice. New information has leaked onto the internet about what LEGO has in store for 2027, and if this information is confirmed, we really have something to look forward to. It's not just one new set, but several really interesting building sets that will feature familiar locations and characters from the film trilogy. And one of them is particularly interesting. For the first time ever, LEGO is going to offer minia figurine of Peter himself Jackson as the director of the LOTR films.

Peter Jackson with carrots

One of the upcoming sets is supposed to be LEGO ICONS The Prancing Pony, i.e. the inn of the Prancing Pony of Bree. According to the current leak, the kit is supposed to contain more than 2000 pieces, cost around 200 dollars and offer more than eight minifigures. Among them are also supposed to be the Ringwraiths with their horses, which in itself sounds like a rather interesting lineup. But the biggest surprise is supposed to come in the form of Peter Jacksona.

If you've ever seen The Fellowship of the Ring, you'll probably remember one of his brief cameo roles. Jackson appeared in the film as a resident of Bree who throws carrots at passing Hobbits. And it is this moment that LEGO is supposed to reference in the game itself, according to the leak. minifigurines. It is supposed to be delivered with carrots.

Honestly, if this detail is true, these are the little things that make LEGO sets based on movies more interesting. It's not just about LEGO creating another famous character. In this case, it's about reminding the director of a few seconds of cameo, which would have been in the classic set miniFew people expected figurines.

The giant Olifant will also arrive

The PrancBut the Pony is definitely not the only interesting LEGO The Lord of the Rings set for 2027. Another leak concerns the building kit labeled 11395, which is supposed to represent the giant Olifant or Mûmakil. According to current information, it is supposed to contain 2017 pieces and its price is supposed to be set at 250 dollars.

There should be no shortage of interesting things here either. minifigures. The leak mentions the Riders of Rohan as well as the Easterlings, who could be included in LEGO The Lord of the RingsoneThe Easterlings are one of those groups among fans who are looking for a new minifigures have been saying for quite a long time.

Helm's Deep in epic form

And that brings us to the largest set of the trio. LEGO is also reportedly preparing a giant Helm's Deep with more than 7000 pieces. The price in this case is expected to be around $700, which translates to roughly 16 crowns. The Czech price may of course be higher.onec different.

According to the leak, Helm's Deep has more than ten minifigures and among the confirmed characters are King Théoden and Haldir. Haldir could be a big draw for fans, as his presence in Helm's Deep directly references the film version of the story, in which the elves arrive to help the Rohirrim.

So if all this information is indeed confirmed, LEGO The Lord of the Rings is set to make a really big comeback in 2027. The Prancing Pony with the first miniPeter figurine Jacksona, the giant Mûmakil with the Easterlings and the Riders of Rohan and nakonec more than seven thousand Helm's Deep are definitely not just small additions to the series. However, the timing for next year is actually absolutely not surprising. After all, the premiere of another film from the LOTR world is scheduled for Christmas next year, specifically The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. LEGO therefore logically wants to extract as much as possible from this hype around the film. Of course, all information needs to be taken with a grain of salt for now. There is still plenty of time left until the official presentation and LEGO can reveal some of the specifications, numbers of pieces, minifigures and prices may change. But if this leak is at least largely confirmed, we have something to look forward to in 2027.
