Most people know Levoit primarily for its air purifiers, which have gained a very good reputation in recent years. However, when this manufacturer also ventured into the segment of cordless stick vacuum cleaners, I admit that I was a little skeptical. The competition is huge and it is definitely not easy to establish yourself alongside established brands. That is why I was all the more curious about the model LVAC-300 Plus, which on paper promises very decent performance, low weight and a system that has minito paint the hair winding on the brush.

ProThis piece arrived recently for me to try out, and I've been using it as my main vacuum cleaner in the household for the past few weeks. So it wasn't a short test run over one afternoon, but a regular daily routine where I vacuumed tiles, vinyl, laminate flooring and a children's rug, so I had the opportunity to try out practically all the situations that a normal household encounters. And I have to say that the Levoit surprised me more than I originally expected.

Technical Specifications

The Levoit LVAC-300 Plus belongs to the upper mid-range class of cordless vacuum cleaners. The manufacturer has opted for a 240 W brushless motor, which offers a suction power of up to 90 AW (24 kPa). There are a total of three vacuuming modes (ECO, MID and TURBO), which can be easily switched between depending on the type of surface or the amount of dirt.

Energy is supplied by a removable Li-Ion battery with a voltage of 21,6 V and a capacity of 3000 mAh. On a single charge, the vacuum cleaner can work for up to 60 minutes when using smaller attachments or approximately 40 minutes with the main rotating brush in ECO mode. Charging the battery from zero to one hundred percent takes approximately three and a half hours.

A great advantage of this vacuum cleaner, which will probably be appreciated especially by women, is its low weight. The body of the vacuum cleaner itself weighs only 1,6 kilograms, which makes it very easy to handle even during longer vacuuming or when cleaning stairs. The dust container offers a volume of 0,75 liters, which is more than sufficient for a normal household. Filtration is provided by a five-stage system with a HEPA filter, which, according to the manufacturer, captures up to 99,99% of particles with a size of 0,3 micrometers. Of course, there is LED head lighting, washable filters or the Anti-Tangle system to reduce hair getting wrapped around the rotating brush.

The package includes several attachments for vacuuming upholstery, crevices or furniture, a long and short tube and a wall mount with charging. Thanks to this, the vacuum cleaner can be adapted to practically any situation in the home.

Processing and design

I dare say that at first glance the Levoit LVAC-300 Plus looks quite elegant. The combination of black with copper details does not look bad at all and it certainly does not give the impression of a cheap plastic product, but on the contrary, a very solid vacuum cleaner. After several weeks of use, I also appreciate that the individual parts still hold together very firmly. Nothing creaks anywhere, the joints have miniThere is minimal clearance and the whole vacuum cleaner feels high quality. In daily use, I didn't feel like I had to be overly careful with individual parts.

The low weight also plays a big role. For me personally, it is what makes vacuuming a relatively pleasant activity. Thanks to it, carrying it between rooms is a matter of seconds and vacuuming under furniture or around chairs is not at all strenuous. One-handed operation is completely problem-free and I did not feel any wrist fatigue even during longer cleaning sessions.

I also have to praise the ergonomics of the handle. It fits well in the hand and all the important controls are exactly where you expect them. This also makes switching power fast and intuitive.

Testing

On paper, the Levoit LVAC-300 Plus looks very good, but as is often the case with similar products, practice is the key. I used the vacuum cleaner as the only one in the household for several weeks and cleaned practically all the surfaces we have at home with it. Most often it was a floating laminate floor, but there were also tiles or a children's rug, which often shows whether the manufacturer only promises performance or actually delivers it.

I must say that almost immediately after switching it on for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the power itself. Even in the basic mode, it easily vacuumed up ordinary dust, crumbs and finer dirt that accumulates on the floor during the day. On hard floors, I rarely felt the need to switch to medium or high power, because even the basic mode did a very good job. This also has a positive impact on the battery life, which does not need to be unnecessarily burdened.

I was equally pleasantly surprised by its performance on the children's carpet and later on the coarser cleaning zone behind the front door. This is where the difference between individual cordless vacuum cleaners is most noticeable due to deeper-set or, if you prefer, embedded dirt. However, the Levoit performed very well and without major problems managed to handle both crumbs and stones and ordinary dust caught between the fibers. Of course, you cannot expect the performance of a large corded vacuum cleaner with several times higher power.onem, but in my opinion, this is an above-average result among battery models, because I was really not far from perfect vacuuming.

I also quickly liked the handling itself. The body of the vacuum cleaner is light, well-balanced, and thanks to that, it does not feel cumbersome even during longer cleaning sessions. I could easily get around the legs of tables and chairs, or get under furniture without feeling like I was struggling with every movement. The low weight proved to be one of its greatest advantages in everyday use. My wife, who is relatively petite, especially couldn't praise the low weight, and cleaning was suddenly a much more enjoyable activity thanks to her.

The LED lighting on the head also deserves praise. Honestly, it's not a feature that I would consider essential when choosing a vacuum cleaner, but once you get used to it, you won't want to go back. This gadget is very good at revealing dust under the bed or under the kitchen counter that would otherwise easily go unnoticed. However, if I were to look for room for improvement, this is where I would start. In my opinion, the LEDs could shine a little more intensely and perhaps even more widely. They do their job, but a stronger light would be even more practical when cleaning brighter rooms.

The brush was also a pleasant surprise. The manufacturer mentions the Anti-Tangle system, which is supposed to reduce hair tangling, and I must say that this time it is not just a marketing slogan. In a household where there is a blonde, a brown-haired toddler and a cat with black fur, cleaning the brush is almost a regular part of cleaning. However, after a few weeks of use, I found that only hair gets caught on the head. minimum of hair and fur, thanks to which I didn't have to reach for the scissors and laboriously clean the brush after every second vacuuming, which is a small thing that in normal operation pleases me perhaps more than many of the more impressive functions.

The maintenance itself also completes the positive impression. Emptying the dust container is a matter of seconds, the filters are easy to remove and wash, and the entire vacuum cleaner feels like a product where the manufacturer has thought about how people will actually use it. It is thanks to such details that I repeatedly found myself reaching for it automatically without thinking about it during testing.

As a result, during several weeks of use, I did not come across anything that would irritate me or force me to make compromises. Yes, the LED lighting could be more prominent and there are always small things that can be improved, but from the point of view of everyday use on tiles, vinyl, laminate and children's carpet, the Levoit LVAC-300 Plus convinced me that it is not just another cordless vacuum cleaner. On the contrary, it seems like a well-thought-out product, where the paper parameters are really noticeable in practice.

Of course, we can discuss whether 40 or 60 minutes of battery life is enough, but it really just depends on how big a house or apartment you live in and how you are used to cleaning. For example, we have long been accustomed to a robotic vacuum cleaner, which of course will not banish Leviot from our household. But if you need to vacuum something quickly, then this piece will serve perfectly as an additional item. And of course not only as an additional item - thanks to its pleasant use, this vacuum cleaner can easily fulfill the role of primary luxury. It really only depends on where you live and how you clean.

Summary

The Levoit LVAC-300 Plus is one of the most pleasant surprises among cordless vacuum cleaners in recent times. It's not a product that tries to impress with dozens of marketing features. Instead, it focuses on things that are really important in everyday use.

It has very good suction power, is great to handle, is lightweight, well-made, and the anti-hair-tangling system actually works. That's not something I could write about every vacuum cleaner I've had the chance to try.

Of course, there are some minor things I would criticize the manufacturer for. The LED lighting on the head could be a little more prominent, and stronger diodes would do even better when vacuuming in the dark. But that's the only criticism I really had during testing.

If you're looking for a cordless vacuum cleaner for a typical household with alternating hard and carpeted floors, want to spend as little time as possible maintaining the brush, and don't want to lug a heavy machine around every cleaning job, the Levoit LVAC-300 Plus is definitely worth considering. What convinced me personally was that it doesn't try to play around. ProIt vacuums really well, is easy to control, and after a few weeks of use, I had no reason to go back to my old vacuum cleaner.
