Garmin has recently officially entered the segment of smart fitness bracelets without a display. It has quietly introduced a new product called CIRQA, which relies on a completely different philosophy than classic smartwatches. Instead of constantly being distracted by notifications and a display, it wants to offer users the most accurate monitoring of health, sleep and sports activities, while displaying all information in the application Garmin ConnectA big attraction is the fact that, unlike some competitors, led by Whoop, it does not require a monthly subscription for its basic operation.
[Update]: The article has been updated with the official Czech price.

No display, maxultimate comfort
At first glance, CIRQA resembles a classic textile bracelet. You will not find a display on it, which is entirely intentional. Garmin wants the user to wear it practically continuously, without being disturbed by the illuminated display or incoming notifications during the day. The bracelet is designed for all-day and all-night wear, and thanks to the textile design, it should be very comfortable even during sleep. The battery life is also pleasing, which according to Garmin reaches up to 10 days on a single charge.
Comprehensive health monitoring 24 hours a day
Although the CIRQA doesn't have a display, you won't be short of health data. Garmin has integrated most of the features we know from its more expensive smartwatches.
The bracelet offers, for example:
- continuous heart rate measurement,
- Bodysuit Battery,
- blood oxygenation measurement (Pulse Ox),
- stress monitoring,
- skin temperature measurement,
- HRV Status,
- breathing monitoring,
- Health Status,
- menstrual cycle and pregnancy monitoring,
- support for the Natural Cycles app.
Another interesting feature is the ability to record caffeine or alcohol consumption. Garmin can then show how these habits affect, for example, regeneration, stress or sleep quality.
Sleep under scrutiny
Sleep monitoring is one of the biggest advantages of the new bracelet. Garmin is trying to offer the most detailed overview of how well you are actually resting.
Not missing:
- Sleep Score,
- Sleep Coach,
- monitoring of individual sleep phases,
- automatic nap detection,
- Smart Wake Alarm,
- Sleep Alignment tracking circadian rhythm alignment,
- analysis of breathing changes during sleep,
- measuring skin temperature during the night.
Thanks to this data, you will not only get a sleep score, but also specific recommendations on how to improve it in the long term.
Over 80 sports and advanced training features
Although CIRQA doesn't have its own display, it's definitely not just a health bracelet. Garmin has also added a whole range of sports features familiar from its watches.
For example, there are:
- Training Readiness,
- Training Status,
- VO2 Max,
- Recovery Time,
- Workout Benefits,
- Fitness Age,
- Intensity Minutes,
- automatic activity detection,
- watching more than 80 sports,
- Connected GPS via phone,
- LiveTrack,
- the ability to transmit heart rate to other Garmin devices.
In addition, automatic activity detection gradually learns to recognize your movement habits, so it should become more accurate with each subsequent workout.
Garmin Connect without mandatory subscription
The great thing about the new feature is that most of the features are available without any subscription. All data is synchronized to the app. Garmin Connect, where you can view, analyze, or edit them in detail.
A paid plan will also be available. Garmin Connect+, which adds, for example:
- Garmin Active AI analytics Intelligence,
- Garmin Coach,
- live trainings,
- guided meditations,
- breathing exercises,
- advanced nutrition tracking,
- other premium statistics.
Unlike Whoop, however, this is not a condition for using the device itself, which will be a very important argument for many interested parties.
Price and availability
Garmin CIRQA will arrive in two sizes (S–M and L–XL) and several colors variaThe US price has been set at $199,99 and sales will start on July 24th. Garmin has not yet announced the European or Czech price.. According to information leaked today, however, we should get a price of $ 199,99 in Europe, or 4990 CZK in the Czech Republic. So I think that this will be a really interesting piece in terms of price.
[Update]: The Czech version of the Garmin website already has the CIRQA bracelet listed, with its price tag set at 4990 CZK, as expected.

Is Garmin on the verge of a hit?
I have to say that I was more interested in CIRQA than I originally expected. In recent years, it has been clear that more and more people do not want to have another display on their hands that constantly distracts them, but at the same time they want to be able to keep track of their health, regeneration and sports performance.oneThis is exactly the group Garmin is targeting. If the traditionally high measurement accuracy that Garmin devices are known for is confirmed, and the company actually offers most of the important functions without the need to pay a monthly subscription, CIRQA could really make a difference.chat cards in the fitness bracelet market. The competition, led by Whoop, is getting a very interesting opponent. And I dare say that not only that. As a long-time user Apple Watch I'm wondering if it would be possible nestIt's worth replacing your watch or at least adding this gadget to it and having another reliable source of data available. ProGarmin is synonymous with precision and complexity.
