If, like me, you recklessly started installing the 2nd developer beta last night iOS 27 thinking that you iPhone will bring a number of new useful innovations, you may have enjoyed a really cold shower after the installation (again, just like me). The fact is that the 2nd public beta not only does it bring very few interesting upgrades and improvements, but what's more, it seems to be removing features in the European Union that we were able to enjoy not only in the 1st beta iOS 27 to a greater extent, but even in iOS 26. We are specifically talking about AI photo editing.

When Apple revealed in the past Apple Intelligence, it also included an improved native photo editor, which initially only allowed you to remove objects from photos and use artificial intelligence to generate a background for them so that the removal was as unnoticeable as possible. In iOS 27, this function was joined by the Expand and Reframe functions, which in the first case allowed you to zoom out on the object in the photo and generate the surroundings around it so that the shot was wider, and in the second case it was even possible to adjust the angle from which the photo was taken. However, all three of these functions were removed from the 2nd beta. iOS 27 have disappeared, and most interestingly, apparently only in the European Union. American users report that the functions are still available.

Unfortunately, at this point it is not absolutely clear whether this is from the side of Apple on purpose, or on the contrary, a mistake. In the editorial office, we are honestly not willing to bet on either of these variant, because each one has something in it. On the one hand, one would think that if Clean has been working for a year for AI to remove objects from photos, it shouldn't be for Apple legislative problem here to launch two more AI functions for photos. On the other hand, it is said that given how in the European Union Apple is cutting down its artificial intelligence, it probably wouldn't be surprising if it didn't retrospectively intervene against Clean and remove Expand and Reframe along with it. But if the second one is variaThat's right, it's a huge shame.
Well, I just got it today (I was waiting for at least the 2nd beta) ios I installed 27 just to edit photos 😁 and I googled for about an hour to find out where the error occurred 🤣 But otherwise the system feels a lot faster and I haven't come across a bug yet.
So if this is how it ends, I'll leave now. Apple 😂 I've done it once before and under pressure from my family I went back, but I'd rather go back to Samsung, where these features are already standard and there's nothing to worry about 😳 Or google pixel 👍
It works when the language is in AJ and with Apple ID in the Czech Republic. On the contrary, they returned it to a state where most functions Apple Intelligence in iOS 26 also only worked with AJ. ProI have it. iPhone 16 Pro still set with AJ
and it's worth it IOS 27 first version on iPhone 17 for ? ?? or better to wait ?
weird. I was waiting for the 2nd beta and installed it in the morning. I had photo editing there. then I changed to svk language and it was no longer there. but I didn't want to switch it again.
Yes, if you have English language, the adjustments are there in the second beta as well.
I don't understand the fans. Apple who are so fooled by the brand and are ready for any compromise just to maintain their "social status"... if they want to show others that they are "rich" and have "millions" in their pockets, then some Samsung phones cost more than Apple….or some Chinese …
