Internet fraud in the Czech Republic is not ending, on the contrary, in recent months their intensity seems to have increased considerably. In particular, email inboxes are filled with various phishing emails every day, which pretend to be messages from insurance companies, banks or similar institutions, but which are not intended to help you, but on the contrary, to deprive you of personal data, ideally your payment card details. And to be honest, some of these emails are quite funny considering the combination of services, institutions and companies they involve. For example, I recently received an email from "GENERALICESKA", which is probably Generali Česká pojišťovna, which was supposed to notify me of an outstanding refund from VZP ČR. What can I do, that the email came from a seemingly fake email and I am not a client of Generali or VZP.
However, there are many more suspicious things in the email, so it is not at all difficult to detect its fraudulent nature and not tochat so you can be fooled by scammers. But if you were to fumble around and not see its "falsehood" despite the obviously strange email or a number of dubious details written directly in the message, it is not far-fetched. screenshot to provide, for example, to someone chatshoe type ChatGPT. I tried that out of curiosity, and the verdict was immediately clear – an obvious scam. This makes detecting phishing attacks a bit easier again.
