A nice lady who has been following you on Instagram for a long time will message you on Instagram. He has over 300 followers and hundreds of posts on his profile, which are also years old. Mile asks you for a favor, so you decide to oblige. It is supposed to be voting in a cooking competition, which is a fairly common practice where people use social networks to collect votes. However, you will be surprised by the following message, which tells you that you will receive a link to vote in the form of an SMS message. At that moment it was clear to me that this was a scam and we began to think about what phone number I would provide so that I could write the article and at the same time I did not risk anything.
Before I could react, I already had a text message on my phone number and it was sent by no one other than FB. The “lady” in question also asked that you not click on the link in the text message, but only copy it to her. If you did, she would have access to your profile on Facebook from that moment on. Facebookua Instagram and you're done. I'm sure someone will write again now how no one can ever find out, but ask yourself if, for example, your mother or younger sibling could not react exactly as this hacked profile wanted. This is a new style of fraud, which also looks very credible, so be very careful with it.
We deliberately did not black out the name in question and just to be sure, we state that the original owner of this account is of course not to blame and she is not the one who wants to lure you to log in to FB and IG, it's just that her profile has already been hacked. So please be very careful indeed, because not all scams have to look like someone wants you to access a bank account or pay a package delivery fee.
