I remember like it was yesterday when Apple revealed in September 2021 on Keynote new Apple Watch Series 7, where one of the main innovations was the classic virtual keyboard, so that users could easily reply to incoming messages via the watch, for example, by writing. However, when this watch arrived for review, my enthusiasm waned immediately after I found out that the Czech Republic was again not considered and support for the Czech keyboard (i.e. QWERTZ) was missing. It was still necessary to rely only on dictation, or rather voice messages. But this year, thisonechanged, albeit in complete silence.
Recently released watchOS 26 is on Apple Watch QWERTZ keyboard support was added with all the bells and whistles. The keyboard understands Czech perfectly, as it is able to correct words (or rather, complete punctuation), or suggest words based on what you have just written. The keyboard also works wherever it is needed and makes sense. It will therefore jump out at you, for example, in WhatsApp, Messengerand native news is a matter of course.
