Honestly, iPhone Air I liked it quite a bit when it was first introduced. It is precisely the lightness and overall airiness that is Air a perfect synonym and that's why I think that the first impression of it cannot be anything other than positive. The speed of the phone is unsurprisingly very good, the color rendering of the display is amazing, and although I'm not a big fan of the Liquid Glass design, iOS 26, I have to admit that if any iPhone suits this style, then this is it iPhone Air thanks to its thinness and overall "light" concept. And in fact, its shortcomings, which you first encounter with the camera, are all the more annoying. Its wide-angle sensor, which should be placed somewhere between the basic ones in terms of quality iPhone a iPhone Pro, at least according to my initial tests, it takes really good photos, and I have to evaluate the 2x hybrid zoom (i.e. the zoomed-in photo from the 48MPx image) equally positively. However, even after that short period of testing, I feel that ultraA wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens are things that I simply lack in a phone for 30 thousand crowns.

I don't want to criticize the new product any more, at least for now, because it obviously needs to be given more space. However, the fact is that the camera's limitations are perhaps an even more fundamental aspect for me than battery life, which you can solve with a power bank and the like. ProEven if you have a great camera system at your disposal, it is still more limited than the one offered by a good 7,000 CZK cheaper. iPhone 17 in the base. And that's just a shame for me and at the same time something that I don't like even now, let alone after the first few days of testing. But who knows, maybe over time I'll convince myself that I don't really need more lenses and iPhone Air is the clear choice for me. But I don't really feel that way yet.
As for any further evaluation, I'd rather leave that until the review itself, because it's not really possible to evaluate the battery life or even the photo capabilities in more depth after a while. After a few hours of testing, however, the phone seems to me to have Apple had to make too many compromises and although it will definitely take your breath away "at first glance", you will quickly start to realize that in this case it is something for something - so you either get an absolutely beautiful piece of electronics, or something slightly uglier, but significantly more functional.

I'm surprised that you're talking about battery life, that it can be "solved" with a power bank... when the phone has the same battery life as the 16. According to tests on YTB, maybe even a little better than the 16, and no one has ever claimed about the 16 that its battery life can be solved with a power bank... or that it has poor battery life or something similar... you're creating a problem that doesn't exist.
I don't like that. Air I like it too, they could have easily tried to ditch USB-C for meonewhich one and put the second one there mini speakers, possibly even bigger battery. And put a wireless charging cable in the box..
