Who likes games from Netflix, should be on the lookout. The company confirmed that 21 popular games will be removed from the service in July. The change comes amid another overhaul of Netflix's gaming strategy. Netflix, which has invested in developer acquisitions and in-house studios in recent years, closed its AAA studio Blue, without having managed to release a single game. The company is now focusing on titles related to its series, party games, and well-known brands. This is also affecting the range of independent games available on mobile devices.

However, Devolver Digital has confirmed that it is working to bring some games like Katana ZERO and Death's Door back to the mobile market as premium titles. Other developers were caught off guard by the news. The creators of The Golden Idol series, for example, admitted that they only recently learned of the withdrawal and are currently considering their next steps.
