Among video game fans, we would probably hardly find someone who has not played or minihave you ever heard of the Metro game series? Without any exaggeration, it is one of the most famous horror FPS games that can be played today. The game takes you to the tunnels of the Moscow metro, where your only task is to survive. Not only will mutants created by radiation from nuclear bombings be after you, but also human enemies. All of this is underlined by an engaging story, great graphics, and artificially induced stress from the lack of bullets, gas mask filters, or first aid kits. In short, there is something to be said for it. And since this game series is now celebrating its 15th birthday, its creators have decided to release a remastered version of Metro 2033 for PC and Xbox for free. So there's not much to hesitate about.
Until until Wednesday 17:00 PM you can permanently add the great Metro 2033 Redux to your library for free – a remaster of the original Metro 2033 from 2014, which brought significantly improved graphics and optimization for modern systems. This time, the promotion is not only running on Steam and GOG.com, but also on Xbox Series X|S. However, in the case of Xbox, everything is not yet ideal due to a bug – apparently, the option to permanently add the game for free should be on Microsoft Store discovered a little later.
At the moment, you can download Metro 2033 Redux on your console via the Install option, which otherwise leads to a regular purchase for 399 CZK, but this will not permanently add the game to your library. But as I have already managed confirm the administrator of the official Twitter account Metro series, this is a bug that the developers are already addressing - so it's only a matter of time before the menu on Xbox appears as it should and the game is added to your library.
