Sci-fi movies featuring humanoid robots could soon become a reality. Boston Dynamics, a well-known American company that has been developing robots for a long time, showed off the incredible movements of its top humanoid, Atlas, a few hours ago. In the video below, Atlas demonstrates movements developed using machine learning reinforcement using references from human motion capture and animation. This is the result of a research partnership between Boston Dynamics and the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Institute (RAI Institute).

Boston Dynamics is one of the most well-known robotics companies in the world, and its humanoid robot Atlas is a clear example of this. This advanced machine can not only walk and run, but also perform complex movements such as jumps, somersaults, or parkour elements. Thanks to advanced algorithms and sensors, it can move in difficult terrain and adapt to changing conditions. Boston Dynamics is constantly improving it, and in recent versions, Atlas has become even more agile and faster. Although the company claims that its technologies are primarily used for research and industrial purposes, many speculate about possible military deployment. Although Atlas looks futuristic, Boston Dynamics is already working on other models that could find practical use in everyday life. If their development does not stop, it is possible that humanoid robots will soon be a common part of the world around us.
