Mafia: The Old Country - that's exactly the name of the newly announced game from the popular Mafia universe, which was revived almost 22 years ago by the team around Dan Vávra. We don't know many details about the game yet, but even the little that is available deserves to be summarized.
From the Czech press release it seems that the new Mafia will be sold in our country under the name Mafia: Homeland and not under the English name Mafia: The Old Country. At least that's how the Mafia prequel is called in the studio's press release and it would be quite strange if the game, after being presented like this, wasonec entered the Czech market as The Old Country. However, in the end it is completely different.
As for the story, we know practically nothing about it yet, but considering that this is a prequel, we will very likely witness the rise of Don Salieri, who was the godfather in the first part of this game series and who came from Sicily. "Discover the origins of organized crime in Mafia: Homeland. It tells a harsh story set in the merciless gangster underworld of Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century.
