There are things that just don't sell, and as the latest survey by the leading analytical company CIRP shows, iPads are among them. Their owners from all over the world made it clear through the survey that they would much rather keep their tablets, or "pass them on" to family or friends, than to get rid of them either by selling them or through various trade-in programs.

The results of the analysis collected by CIRP from March 2023 to March 2024 speak for themselves. 31% of the iPad owners interviewed said that after switching to a new iPad, they would leave their old model with family or friends, and another 36% said that they would keep it themselves for simpler tasks that the device is still capable of. In other words, more than 2/3 of the respondents stated that they simply did not want to get rid of the old iPad. On the contrary, only 9% want to sell it either "directly" or through a trade-in program, when the seller of their new model buys it. The remaining 23% then lose, break or have their iPad stolen, which is why they switch to a new device.

In the case of iPhones, the situation is diametrically different. Of those surveyed, a solid 30%onewant it "as a souvenir" or for easier activities and 11% "send" it to family or friends, but 42% will sell it through a trade-in program and 5% will sell it "directly". Getting rid of an iPhone is therefore obviously much easier for Apple fans than getting rid of an iPad. Does the fact that iPads are replaced less often and therefore their sales/trade-in price is no longer attractive and therefore it makes more sense to notchat, or whether the Jablíčká people have certain emotional ties to them, for example, we can only guess.
