Nowadays, it's really not a problem to come across fakes. AirPods. The problem is that at first glance they are often indistinguishable. How many times does that iconic animation appear on some models even after opening the headphone box? AirNote: Of course, you will only notice the difference in the musical performance itself, battery life, microphone performance, etc. The differences between fake and real AirThere are, of course, a whole range of Pods. You can very well recognize counterfeits, for example, on an X-ray, which of course you don't have at hand. An X-ray can carefully reveal, for example, a different arrangement of circuits or battery mounting.
Jon Bruner took a close look at the fake headphones under a microscope. In the video below you can see how big the differences are between the originals AirPods Pro 2. generation and two fakes. The author of the video contributed a very interesting comment on the battery issue. "In original headphones AirThe Pods are carefully crafted coin-cell batteries housed in each earbud, designed to fit comfortably into a compact shape and deliver optimal performance. In contrast, both specimens of the counterfeit AirPods contain lithium-ion case batteries, which are not only far more laxly processed, but also potentially less safe."When it comes to the circuits, Bruner says they are honest engineering work. In the case of counterfeits, on the other hand, they are simpler circuits built from commonly available components.onent.

What about the build itself? "One of the fakes doesn't offer wireless charging at all (no coils are visible in the scans), and the other has wireless charging coils but lacks the magnets that attach the real case. AirPods on charger Apple Watch. Counterfeit headphones AirPods even resort to using internal artificial weights that have no function other than to mimic the weight of the original product. These counterfeits may replicate the visual cues of the original, but the use nestandard materials not only affects the overall experience, but also compromises the structural integrity and overall lifespan of the product."
So that's great news, normally everyone has an x-ray at home to check it :D
I don't know much about headphones, but I assume that after connecting the headphones to iPhone this one can distinguish the original from the imitations...or am I wrong? Moreover, I hope that I can get the original in reputable online stores...or am I wrong too :-D?
Yes, you're wrong, he can't tell... https://www.letemsvetemapplem.eu/2020/03/07/koupili-jsme-falesne-airpods-ktere-nerozeznate-od-skutecnych-a-kompletne-je-rozebrali-v-autorizovanem-servisu-applu/
Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell. A friend got fooled when he bought through an ad with an original invoice from Alza. I think he had a fake SN on that invoice. AirThe pods paired normally, they played the same as the original, the same animation... I was in doubt from the beginning whether it would work... (I had the original) then when an update came out later, they didn't update it... I was confirmed that it was a fake. A friend of mine had a 4K at the time. He didn't even report it to the Police, they would only deal with it as a misdemeanor and then he would have to go to a public law dispute, so the expenses and hassle would last for years... so he waved his hand at it, saying that he had a negative experience, that even the invoice doesn't guarantee authenticity...
You are safe in the store.
yeah and even SN in those Airpodech Pro was legitimate…
