Do you meet a lot of reckless drivers on the roads who don't bother with any road traffic rules at all? You are not alone. However, the authorities in Great Britain have evidently run out of patience with these sinners, so they are about to start a rather unconventional fight against them. In cooperation with the police, they created an application that will serve drivers to capture violations and report them directly to the police, who will subsequently punish them.

The principle of the application should be absolutely simple. The phone with the app installed is simply attached to the windshield of the car so that its rear camera has the best possible view of the outside, and then the app is launched. As soon as the owner of the phone does so, it starts recording to catch any infractions. Once that happens, the owner of the phone will be able to send the recording to the police, who will receive it within a few tens of seconds and will be able to start solving it. And when we say "solve," we really mean "solve." It is precisely thanks to the cooperation of the police in the development of the application that the recordings are to be viewed as classic evidence, so that sinners should not simply avoid punishment.

As for the individual offenses that can be reported via the application, it should be about the "classics" such as bad parking, running a red light, ignoring the turn signals, using the phone behind the wheel, as well as reporting speeding. Here, however, the question arises as to how exactly the application can prove the speed, because for example police speed radars must meet strict certifications and it is therefore hard to imagine that only data obtained based on movement for GPS and the like would be sufficient for mobile speed measurement . However, we should know everything soon - in the UK, the application will start already in May.
Such beautiful "bonzing" online.
"simply attaches to the windshield of the car so that its rear camera has the best possible view out"
So the given user will actually be "violating" Decree No. 341/2014 Coll. in the case of the Czech Republic (if such an application worked there).. Sure, the police usually don't care or they solve it by agreement. But the point is the principle that ideally there should be nothing on the windshield and now we have this appto, which is supposed to help at the cost of some danger (checking pedestrians because their mobile phones are in view, etc.).
And why would you put your phone on the windshield when you can attach it in other ways?
That would be a lot of money for us...
Ignorance of blinkers, driving on cervenu, making phone calls in a new car that has a guaranteed BT function, but the owner is an idiot and doesn't know/doesn't want to pair it, so he prefers to make calls with one hand and notvenuDo you think driving is a pain in the ass? Well, I don't know about you, but apparently if it's a rash, you probably fit into the group I'm describing, and people like that are, no offense, ordinary s**ts.
UPDATE: it's not about you, I wrote it wrong, it should have been about the group of people who violate it... you wrote it correctly of course...
Bonzaci, it will be next time. appka on incorrect speech in the pub
If the rules were followed, there is nothing to brag about. But you obviously have a problem with it yourself, that's why it annoys you so much. Rules are OK, but only yours, eh?
when we go to the parkancyes, we are the best drivers in the world, because no one wants to pay fines like in the north, in thousands of €, but at home there is a lot of talk about bonzaks :D that's our falos
I'm quite curious as to what legal weight such evidence sent anonymously has.
Certainly speeding is out of the question – it is not measured by a certified meter
And the other offences, I also don't know if the driver would have defended himself more in the administrative proceedings, if he would have gotten away with it without, for example, the testimony of the person who took it. And if the authorities started subpoenaing witnesses, imho most people would change their minds. :)
