The big plans have taken their toll. This is exactly how one could briefly summarize the situation surrounding the currently intensively prepared iOS 17, which is due in the fall iPhoneto replace the existing iOS 16, and by extension, other new OS versions in the form of iPadOS 17 and macOS 14. At least that's what the sources of the very well-informed reporter Mark Gurman from Bloombergwhich in the past almost always hit the bull's eye. The reason is quite simple - a change in priorities in software.
Gurman's sources claim specifically that he had Apple pros iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14 and other new OSes for 2023, he prepared a whole series of major innovations with which he wanted to revive the systems and make them more attractive overall. However, the vast majority of these innovations were notonec to be postponed to 2024 because its software teams currently need to focus on completing the software for the upcoming AR/VR headset. It is ultimately crucial to bring it to the best possible level so that you can enjoy it Apple hasn't closed its doors to customers for the next few years. After all, if its software for the glasses didn't work, it would hardly be able to attract users as a product. However, if they iOS 17 and other systems, at least without major bugs and, on top of that, perfectly optimized for newer and older devices, this "little bit" will be enough for Apple fans.
It won't be the biggest news in ios17 the ability to freely install 3rd party applications?
The author could not write the title as it is - click...
Of course, the author could do that, but when not even one of the largest capacities in Apple world in the form of Mark Gurman, I wouldn't be so sure about her arrival.
Let's hope not. I've written this many times before, but once again, nestI'm worried about reducing security, that's why I have it "closed" iOSIf I wanted freedom in everything, including the introduction of malware, I have Android.
There will be something to it!
if someone forces you to install applications outside of the official ones appstore? On the contrary, I welcome the fact that I won't have to appletv install kodi via paid dev account.
We cannot expect that Apple will bring 100 new features to the new version of the system every year. The possibilities for what to add are simply getting smaller and, honestly, if I were at the moment iOS 15, I wouldn't miss anything. My only wish would be to tweak/redo the lock screen they introduced in iOS 16. That's something crazy, unintuitive, graphically untuned and then optimize the entire system (as the article says)
I really miss the option to choose which apps should be launched quickly on the lock screen. There's a camera and a flashlight pre-set and it's worth shit... It's happened to me many times that the flashlight turned on without my knowledge and it was eating my flashlight.
