Because new ones are sold from today (not only) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia Apple AirPods 2nd generation, you probably won't be surprised that we managed to get a pair of these headphones for testing in the editorial office. And since I've been playing in my ears for a while now, it would be a shame to deprive you of my first impressions of them and of course also of the unboxing, which is not allowed with any new Apple to miss the product.
In terms of packaging AirPods Pro 2 actually, there is nothing surprising. They will arrive in the same box as the first generation, and the contents are the same – the headphones themselves, brochures, charging cable and of course three pairs of silicone earplugs in different sizes, with the fourth pair being attached directly to the headphones in the charging box. More or less the only upgrade to the packaging is the replacement of the plastic foil with a pair of self-adhesive strips on the back, which Apple tries to make the packaging of its products more ecological, as it can also very successfully keep both parts of the box together, and at the same time it will immediately tell you if by chance the package has not already been unpacked in front of you.
The first thing you encounter after pulling out AirPods Pro Of course, there's a charging case that hides the headphones in their box. At first glance, this looks practically the same as the first-generation case, which I've owned since its introduction, but upon closer inspection, you can't help but notice the four speaker vents on the bottom and the hole for a strap on the right side. While the strap keeps me pretty cool, the speakers come to me in no time, once I've been using it. AirPods Pro 2 I think it's an absolutely brilliant feature. The headphones will sound through them right when you pair them, but they also make themselves known through the speakers every time you start charging them, which is on the one hand a complete bummer, but on the other hand an element that I personally enjoy so far and overall thanks to it you perceive the previously boring charging case completely differently than you were used to. The speakers are also just loud enough, so you don't have to worry about their sounds disturbing you in any way, unless you really need to charge at night and so on. So, for this element Apple in my opinion, it deserves a huge thumbs up, even if it is to some extent a small thing.
While I will have to test things like endurance, pairing speed, and so on more thoroughly in the coming days, the sound component, both without and with attenuation, ANC and I've already had a quick look at the throughput mode. I'll start with the worse one first. When comparing ANC AirPods Pro 2 s AirPods Pro 1 Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to me that there has been such tremendous progress here as Apple promised. When I read the first foreign reviews, it seemed to me that it was ANC from new AirPods like from another galaxy, but when I put the headphones in my ears for the first time, ANC It wasn't even able to drown out the sound of running water from the next room, which was quite a surprise to me. However, I repeat that I've only been playing with the headphones for a while now and there's still time to draw any more conclusions.
However, the positive thing is undoubtedly that the improvement in the sound component is AirPods Pro 2 compared to the first generation, it's actually audible, and quite a lot. Honestly, until now I've kind of lived with the fact that AirPods Pro 1 they play really well, they have very decent bass and the overall sound is simply at such a level that the average person doesn't even need anything more. But now I almost want to say that I was damn wrong. Sound AirPods Pro 2 although it is not a mile away from the one from AirPods Pro 1, but it perfectly improves its key elements, led by bass, overall density and liveliness, thanks to which it can draw you into the song better than the first generation. And believe me, I really know what I'm writing. I've been testing the headphones so far, with the first generation in one ear and the second generation in the other, while AirPods Pro 2 it managed to surpass the first generation in liveliness and all the others I mentioned above. In general, I would not even be afraid to say that the sound AirPods Pro 1 is, on the other hand, from AIrPods Pro 2 relatively boring or simply not as interesting and enjoyable as the news.
So how in a few words AirPods Pro 2 after a few dozen minutes in my ears, can I evaluate them? So far I really like them, although quite frankly I'm ANC and throughput mode I really expected more. On the other hand, I personally use these modes miniso their temporary burnout doesn't bother me that much. Especially since we have a really better sound here combined with a fun case, which would probably make sense to me even if it Apple sold separately. This is exactly the type of crazy that you don't need, but has such a flair that you simply want it.
Well, I don't know about you, but today I washed the car with a pressure washer and I didn't even hear it, I only heard a little hissing of water, for me it's a complete bombshell
And how loud was your music, etc.? That's also a pretty important factor. In my case, it was about 40% and nestit worked. And I'll ask another question - do you have a direct comparison with AirPods Pro 1? Proas I write, ANC It's definitely not bad, I just don't think it's that much better.
ANC it cannot cancel out all frequencies and for the rest it is generally affected by the construction. So I would be a little cautious in my statements. Tried today in kancelária car and street and great satisfaction. There is a certain shift compared to the previous generation.
Well, yes, a certain shift. However, I expected a little more when I saw Keynote Applu, where he presented AirPods quite spectacularly.
Of course it was presented as a significant improvement. Each person perceives sound individually. An example of my wife who slowly can't tell if it's on or not ANC and me who enjoys almost silence. Therefore, I would be cautious and rather describe it as a subjective feeling.
After all, every review and every first impression is subjective :) but the rest is of course true, it's really enough about the individual's taste and perception. So may you continue to be satisfied with the headphones!
Today they arrived...
I'm not the kind of person who would nitpick and talk about how beautifully it's packaged, so I'll skip this topic... the box is already in the three-day waste (especially paper, especially plastic)
We bought them because my Marshall amps sound great, ANC It's cool, I like the box and the design more than anything else. Apple, they sit beautifully in my ears, but unfortunately they have rubber tips that have some strange composition and they irritate me terribly in my ears, so if I have them in my ears for a few hours, then I can go crazy for 3 days...
So we chose Pro 2 and I hope that comrades from AppThey have better tires...
Otherwise the sound is decent, very pleasant and relaxing sound, ANC I like them, they sound a little better than Marshalls and a little weaker than the big B&O headphones...
I had the previous one for 1. So I can't compare, and I don't even know how much volume I had, but certainly over 50% in each case I had a great experience from the music and I didn't notice the humming of the pressure cleaner.
But after a few hours of listening, my ears didn't hurt, and after putting them in my ears for the first time, they fit perfectly... they held like nails and were completely lost in the ear. But already at the end I had the feeling that I would be sick from the noise reduction... but otherwise satisfaction
And isn't it a better solution to buy Marshalls other rubbers? Maybe made of silicone? There are millions of them on the market.
