It's been rumored for a long time, hasn't it Apple is preparing augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) headsets. Not much is known about the device. According to speculations, the Apple headset should have a micro-OLED display, which will be supplied by Sony and LG Display. Thanks to this, it will be possible to achieve low consumption and, above all, a slim design. There will be three 3D sensors from LG Innotek and a mid-range camera from a Chinese supplier. Sources also agree that it will not be a cheap affair, which many would expect. As far as functions are concerned, at least patent applications can tell us. The new patent talks about the possible use of not only VR gloves.

The patent application states that VR gloves can move the cursor, scroll, open a document, make selections, etc. Pro In this case, the sensing of gestures and movements will require skin-to-skin contact. So the sensors will be inside the gloves. At the same time, the camera in the headset (radio frequency system) can track the fingers. Another patent application describes two wearable devices similar to Apple Watch, which could be used for sensing and gestures. Another idea, on the other hand, talks about a smart ring that would be able to meet the above-mentioned issues. And that in conjunction with smart gloves. As always, it is worth adding that these are only patents which Apple never have to bring to life. Just in case, an AR//VR headset from the workshop AppWe could see it at the beginning of next year. The improved version will be in 2024.
