Although the new generation of iPhone SE has only been on sale for a few days, it has already undergone its first durability test. These tests were carried out by Allstate. Protection Plans, which tests practically all user-interesting electronics in terms of their durability. And it should be noted that Apple among them, his SE 3 certainly didn't put him to shame.

If you still remember the iPhone SE 3 launch, you might remember the words Applu that it has the strongest glass ever used in a smartphone, both on the front and back. The paradox is that the phone still does not have protection Ceramic Shield, which aims to increase the resistance of the iPhones 12 and 13, even if only the display, against breakage. However, it seems that even on the “strongest glass”, as it is called Apple he proudly calls it on his official website, after all, something will happen. The test started with a fall from about two meters onto the sidewalk with the display facing down, and the phone survived with only minor scratches, but without any cracks. In this respect, it was completely equal to the iPhone 12 and 13, which it was able to do subsequently even when falling from the same height onto its side.

iPhone SE 3 was fatal only when it fell on its back, which it could no longer withstand. The rear glass broke immediately upon the first fall from a height of approximately two meters, although it should be added that this could only have been the work of chance. However, iPhones 12 and 13 have stopped falling on their backs and are therefore better in terms of durability. However, how much influence their construction, weight or just the luck mentioned above has on this is currently largely unknown. Either way, relying on durability is ultimately nonsense and it is therefore always better to equip the phone with a cover that will reduce the risk of potential damage.
