The social network Instagram is tightening the screws. The social network will now require all Instagram users to share their date of birth to create a safer and more private experience for teens, company officials said today.
Instagram has added a date of birth box for users, and those who haven't yet posted it will be prompted to do so. This will happen when you open the app and during use. Therefore, in order for users to continue using this network without problems, they will have to provide their date of birth. Instagram also plans to place a warning screen on certain posts and will also require a date of birth before the "view request" alone (unless the user has already entered it, of course). This will of course be required for more sensitive posts. Age information will be used to create security features. So that younger users can see what is suitable for their age. It is therefore a further strengthening of the protection of children. In March of this year, Instagram introduced rules to prevent adults from messaging people under 18. Last month, it automatically introduced the accounts of people under 16 as private. How do you feel about this newly introduced Instagram move? You can see the new look in the gallery above.
Well, I'll cancel it.
