A twenty-five-year-old woman from China has had an unpleasant experience. Her friend alerted her one day that there was a video of her on Pornhub. The woman was very touched by the situation, so she decided to create facial recognition software with a team of programmers to help potential victims find out if their leaked video is also on similar websites. The application will be called Alecto AI. She is named after the Greek goddess of anger.

In an interview with the local newspaper, the woman, who did not want to reveal more details about herself and asked to be called Tisiphoné (goddess of revenge), said that such a situation can be very painful. According to them, this copyright-infringing content can be present on various platforms and spread almost all over the internet. A person whose video leaks onto the internet in some such way can experience the trauma again and again. According to the woman, it is impossible to defend oneself if the appropriate technology is not at hand. Her goal is to come up with an “effective, impartial and compassionate” application. Although she said that this situation happened to her seven years ago, it still left wrinkles on her and she said that it was really difficult at the time. The woman said that she is determined to make her app a safe space for users’ data and that she is implementing a number of security measures in it, including biometric authentication and end-to-end encryption and not storing any data on her server. Before the discussion gets heated in the comments... No, we don't have a video.
