Single again
The American sitcom – Zase single again is heading to Voyo. Three divorced men in one apartment and their lawyer who takes care of them like her own. The series begins with a divorce attorney, played by American actress Kristen Johnson (Sex and the City, Mom or Such Normal Aliens), introducing her newly single client Stuart (David Alan Basche) to his new roommates, Phil (Donald Faison) and Haskell ( Wayne Knight). Each of the three men is completely different as Stuart tries to win his wife back and his behavior is strikingly more like a female carer than a man. Vera Stanhope leads a crime team in Northumberland, northern England. Her method of investigation is unusual but effective. Instead of gathering facts, she focuses more on empathizing with the souls and relationships of all those involved, and then draws her conclusions from that. An adaptation of the detective novels by British novelist Ann Cleeves, which is being published by Euromedia Group – Book Club was also released in Czech, filmed by the television company ITV, the main role of the quirky Inspector Vera Stanhope was played by the renowned British actress Brenda Blethyn. Her deputy, the young Sergeant Joe Ashworth, was played by David Leon, for whom this role represented one of the first significant acting opportunities.
The day that changed Norway!
A Norwegian series that reconstructs one of the worst massacres in the Kingdom of Norway and that is on July 22, 2011. A person whom the whole world knows as a murderer of children - Anders Breivik. On July 22, this man detonated a bomb in the government district of Oslo, killing eight people. Shortly thereafter, he shot dead 69 members of a summer camp of social democratic youth on the nearby island of Utöya. In August 2012, the court sentenced him to 21 years behind bars for mass murder and terrorism, with the possibility of extending the sentence.
Instead of Breivik, however, we follow several fictional characters representing the people of Norway who had to deal with the immediate consequences of the disaster. The series, by Norwegian public television, however, focuses on what preceded and followed the attacks. "It's not a story about one terrorist, but about the rest of us Norwegians," says Ivar Køhn, head of drama production at NRK.
