Thirteen inch MacBook Pro is the world's best-selling 13" laptop in its class, and people love its performance. Thanks to the M1 processor, it is 2.8 times faster than before. The graphics chip is 5x faster than before, allowing users to work with advanced 3D graphics or video editing even on the go. Apple MacBook Pro It is 3x more powerful than the most powerful laptop in its class. In terms of ML performance, it is 11x higher than the previous generation. MacBook Pro offers first MacBook with the M1 processor active cooling, which is extremely quiet and serves primarily to allow the M1 processor to use 100% of its potential.
MacBook Pro s M1 offers up to 17 hours of web browsing and up to 20 hours of video playback on a single battery charge. You now have three microphones at your disposal, which perfectly filter out all noise and everything you don't want to disturb you during FaceTime calls. Of course, there is an improved FaceTime camera that allows face detection, TouchID, up to 2TB of storage, 16GB of RAM, Security enclave, Wi-Fi 6 and something else Apple referred to as microphones studioquality. There is also Magic Keyboard and TouchBar how else but with TouchId. Price MacBook Pro with M1 starts at $1299, the same as the previous model with Intel.
- Newly introduced Apple products will be available for purchase except Apple.com for example on Alge, Mobil Pohotovosti or u iStores
Those numbers really don't add up, it can hardly be 2,8 times more powerful than its predecessor and at the same time 3 times more powerful than the most powerful laptop in its class.
Btw, in that presentation it is written "3x more powerful than the most sold Windows laptop in his tride"
best seller means that people buy it the most, if you don't know that then go back to school (that is, if your distance learning doesn't start today 🤣
Well, if it's true, then their CPU will be so brilliant that I don't want to believe the numbers. Such endurance and such performance.
Intel CPUs that were in MBPs until now are lousy both in terms of consumption and perf per watt and secondly in terms of overall performance, 4 cores are pretty miserable these days, plus you are limited by the need to cool this high consumption. 7nm AMD are a step further and these ARMs have much better perf per watt, so with the same cooling much higher performance. That's the whole magic behind the habitoneIn my laptop, it's electricity converted into heat.
Well, this is a real cannon!
I see that Apple they really trust their processors when, except for the s Apple M1 offers the same models in more expensive configurations with Intel :D.
yes, it upset me, they only put it in the cheapest ones with two ports
That surprised me a lot too. As MB Pro, So Mac mini with M1 much cheaper than previous models with Intel. If it really has that much performance, then thumbs up, but I feel a catch. So we'll see...
I'll probably go for it. I like how Tim said that thanks to Rosset I'll run all the programs I run on it at the moment Prock and some are even better. So Parallels + Win+ Steam and Witcher 3. With this unprecedented vykoneI can go and stuff the PS5.
Did they have a working Win x86 on the M1 somewhere?
does win 10 support arm processors?
I'd rather play Demon Souls on PS5 instead of the rather boring Witcher. But against my taste…
If I missed something, Macy s Apple Silicon are unable to start Windows x64 :).
Tim said that thanks to Rosette, they will be able to run all programs like on Macs with Intel. So I don't see why it shouldn't work.
"On M1 systems, Rosetta runs seamlessly appwith built for Intel-based Macs.”
It is said in keynote at 20:39.
No, it didn't fail - it makes sense that you can't run a CISC OS on a RISC SoC ;)
As a programmer, I will gladly explain it to you - all apps written for Mac work with certain APIs that Apple simply remade the pre Apple Silicon, that's why it's so easy to prepare new applications for new Macs. Rosetta also recognizes these APIs, so it can partially translate the application during installation, and then it works, although emulated, with relatively good performance. Windows but it is built on completely different APIs and Roseta cannot cope with them, so both Parallels and Bootcamp are a thing of the past for now.
What does a work computer have in common with PS5?
Big disappointment, I expected it to be 14″ and have a new design. This will be more like this betatest on customers.
I feel that way too...
ProKUWA ONLY 2(!)USB-C again?! So Time & Co. PISSED ME OFF!
Otherwise we'll see what REAL performs.ance tests and then we'll finally SEE ;)
If I take it around and around, the eM units are quite decently upgraded in their 2 versions (7 & 8 GPU cores) (from 10 to 16(!)M transistors) A12 X & Z :)
:D :D :D :D the person above who wrote that he is going to gamble the Witcher :D :DS Risc why is it clear soooooooo. you run it there. And in general, read a little about why those processors are cooler than AMD/Intel. If you think this is a complete coup, a oneARM will be everywhere for a long time, so there is no saving for you :( What they introduced are nice machines for a laptop user like me: I take it with me, watch videos, the Internet, it has good endurance (we are not always connected to 230V). But otherwise it will be useless for PRO
That will be the case, but only ± at the level of 15W TDP i3 + i5, which M1 replaces. It will be (only with active cooling, eh Air…) even a little better, although we'll see what the real deal is in the end ;)
Unfortunately I have to agree. Already when they announced the transition to ARM, I could see where it was going, I was waiting for some miracle to come, that they have some special backup in their pocket that nobody knows about and they don't. They're really going to turn professional Macs into coffee shop iPhones with keyboards for watching videos and browsing the web.
It has to start somehow. Everything will be different in a moment, if the competition doesn't step on the gas too, Intel might miss something, just like Microsoftu.
The Intel train has already run away, but I'd rather see AMD Ryzen under the hood Apple Silicon.
I think they will sell Macs with Intel processors, and who knows if it will be permanent. Microsoft also has a version Windows for ARM processors, these are mostly machines for everyday users, for video, web, and the like. Prohundred people who don't do any extra work on the computer and only consume content. The more powerful three have Intel processors because of software compatibility. I certainly don't think I would buy a new computer again just because I can install an application on it HBO Maxwhen I can watch HBO in a browser. I hope they still sell computers with Intel processors, otherwise I'll go back to Windows.
Well, I don't know, 13.3 inch display, only 2 USB ports and only 8 GB of memory. It's really Pro or just bigger Air?
Next year… they need to sell twice… like you don't know them. :-)
Guys, the top processors are now AMD Ryzen 5xxxX versions. Everything else can be buried under the ground for now. Look at the benchmarks and see for yourself ;)
