We have reported on the successful NieR series many times in the past, whether in connection with the successful Automata or the upcoming successor in the form of Rein.carnation, which will arrive on mobile devices sometime this year. Although the release is still a long way off and we only hear bits and pieces of information about the development, from time to time the developers show off new features and give the community some demos that will entice players. A similar incident occurred shortly after the launch of the closed beta test, where players filmed their testing and shared up to an hour of gameplay footage with fans. And so far, the game is taking only the best from its PC and console siblings.

Unlike the previous installment, we will not only expect fast-paced action and frenetic battles, but also exploration of the surroundings and sophisticated RPG elements that will be mixed with 2D sequences, during which we will learn a little more about the whole story and learn something about the world there. It is abandoned for a mysterious reason and it will be up to us to uncover the secret and discover the cause. In addition, the cutscenes will be implemented using 2D animations, which always smoothly switch back to normal mode. The only drawback is the loading screen, which is displayed for a short while each time. The combat system also looks tempting, which is sophisticated, intuitive and adapted to mobile devices. All we can do is wait for the announcement of the release date, which the developers have only mentioned briefly and promised that NieR Reincarnation will be released this year. In the meantime, you can check out the countless demos that have popped up online.
