A German court banned Tesla from using the word Autopilot

The German jurisdiction stepped on Tesla's terminology. According to the courts, this is a misleading advertisement because the word "Autopilot" evokes that the vehicle drives fully by itself, which in this case is not true and the driver must constantly check the traffic during the journey. It is therefore misleading information, which is why Tesla was banned from using such a label. Tesla defended itself in this dispute by taking the word Autopilot from aviation.
