It wouldn't be a proper gaming week if the gaming giant in the form of Epic Games didn't prepare another offering for us. This time, the developers have come out with three games in a row, and it seems that the competition and the effort to drag Steam players does not stop. While in the previous weeks we were expecting more indie projects and independent games, now there are gems in the store in the form of the action Killing Floor 2, the adventure Lifeless Planet and the pixel-art game The Escapists 2, where we will try to cheat the system and escape from a high-security prison .
Killing Floor 2
Let's start with probably the hottest candidate, which is the zombie carving Killing Floor 2. The first part made a hole in the world in its time, and even if die-hard fans did not like the second sequel too much, lovers of Left 4 Dead will certainly appreciate the realistic visuals, the plethora of available weapons and the passionate co-op action . Whether you want to cut a co-op in 6 people, or deal with the hardest bosses in the game, while 11 other teammates stand by your side, there are plenty of options and believe us, the game will keep you entertained for a good few tens of hours . There are also imaginative locations, a pretty scary and oppressive atmosphere or a gradually increasing, sometimes frustrating difficulty. So if you're not afraid to step into the dark and defy gore monsters, head over to Epic Store and download the game. It will be enough for you Windows 7, Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 clocked at 2.66 GHz, 3GB RAM and GeForce GTS 250.
Lifeless Planet
However, if you're more into a slightly more depressing atmosphere and hanging out on a desolate planet, Lifeless Planet might just be for you. As an astronaut, you go on a secret mission, but you soon find out that the planet is almost lifeless and you are still in danger in the form of a special anomaly. Don't expect overly elaborate gameplay or graphics, this game will mainly be about exploring the surroundings and uncovering what lies behind this strange situation. So if you're tempted to venture into space, head to Epic Store and download the game. Pro a smooth experience will suffice Windows XP, Intel Core 2 Duo, 1.5GB RAM and GeForce GT 430 graphics card.
The Escapists 2
And finally, we have a game that everyone has probably heard of. In The Escapists 2, you will try to outwit the guards, escape from prison and, ideally, cover your tracks without being seen. There are pixel-art graphics, the need for a pretty complex strategy and thorough planning, which will be the alpha and omega of your eventual success. Of course, you will have a plethora of objects, characters with whom you can interact and other gadgets that will make your escape a little easier. So if you want to enjoy a few hours behind bars and then quickly disappear from your cell again, head to Epic Store and download the game for free. You will also play with Windows 7, Intel Core Duo E6600 with 2.4GHz clock speed, 2GB RAM and integrated Intel 4400 graphics.
Don't you wonder why epic is giving away pretty decent games for free? Couldn't there be a catch? Look, he's quite a substantial hook there. Maybe someone has figured it out, but I haven't found an article yet that addresses it. The catch, and quite crucially, doesn't work for any multiplayer game. So far, we have not been able to get multiplayer working in any game.
No one caught on to it, perhaps because it's not true. ProThe problem will probably be somewhere else, I'm guessing between the keyboard and the chair.
