Rwanda has received five robots (Mwiza, Urumuri, Ikirezi, Akazuba and Ngabo) from the United Nations Development Program in the fight against the coronavirus. These machines will be active in the capital, where they can detect the symptoms of up to 5 people in 150 minutes. They can also record sound and alert the doctor, for example, to an atypical cough. Five robots will also monitor whether patients are wearing masks. In the capital of Rwanda, contact between doctors and potentially infected people will be limited.
