Developers are not lazy even during the crisis and pandemic and are trying to regularly come up with new titles that will immerse players in virtual realities for a few hours and force them to stay in quarantine. Creator Jesse Makk is no exception.onen, who in 2015 rushed in with the remarkable horror game DISTRAINT, with which he made a real dent in the world, and now he is trying to do the same with the pleasant atmospheric puzzle game Heal. It promises relaxing gameplay, a beautiful world and challenging puzzles.
It was 2015 and an inconspicuous game called DISTRAINT first appeared on Steam, stirring up the stagnant waters of the genre and captivating thousands of players around the world thanks to its unconventional approach and rather bold game mechanics. The game was developed by Jesse Makkonen, which did not rest on its laurels and, in addition to the remastered version of the original title, also provided players with entertainment in the form of a sequel, which was released last year in April. Makkonen became famous thanks to his achievements and players were slowly expecting what kind of hit he would come up with this time. However, the creator surprised them and instead of a horror hit, he came up with a pleasant and relaxing, almost meditative adventure game Heal, which enchants at first glance with its hand-drawn world and classic gameplay based on point-and-click games.
Of course, there will also be a very dense atmosphere and an emotional story that will philosophize on the topic of old age, memory, nostalgia and love. This is definitely an interesting project that you will probably remember and think about its meaning for a long time. In addition, your brain will be really worked up over the difficult puzzles that you will have to successfully solve in order to progress through the game. So if this game caught your attention and you want to cry, just wait until April 10th, when the game will officially be released on iOS, Android and of course on Steam. We can only hope that the title will be as successful as its predecessors from Makk's workshop.onena.
