If you are a big football fan, you will certainly not miss out on games in this direction. Of course, you can also play football matches decently and in high quality on your mobile phone. In App Store you will find, for example, the great Dream League Soccer 2020, eFootball PES 2020 and FIFU Mobile. The latter game now comes with a new way to improve your team. Sure, in-game purchases are possible, but why not participate in improving the team yourself? Adidas introduced a device it calls GMR. It is an insole that you put in your football boots/shoes (your stronger legs), and with your own sporting contribution, you will improve your team thanks to the Jacquard Tag that you put in the insole.
If you play FIFU Mobile, you may have noticed a brick with Paul Dybala in the middle of the main menu, which refers to Adidas GMR. You need to own a GMR with a tag to use this new section. Simply put, you put the device in your shoes and go for a run or play football. Your activity will be recorded and you will receive game rewards for your performance. If I'm not mistaken, immediately after purchasing the device you will receive Paul Dybala in the Ultimate Team as ST, CAM or RW with a rating of 95, since the prerequisite for getting it is GMR level 1. You can also see weekly challenges in the game, currently 25/75 sprints after 25/75 meters, 5/15/40 hard shots from a large lime or a run of 1000 meters.
Of course, there are also achievements. The initial ones consist of kicking a thousand balloons, a kilometer sprint, completing twelve weekly quests, and also walking ten kilometers. So you can put the insole in your shoes, go for a walk, and you can still get a reward for completing the achievement. For mastering these four achievements, you complete a level and get a reward. ProThere are currently 5 levels in the game, with the last one requiring 30 kicks, a total of 30 kilometers of sprinting, completing 168 weekly quests, and 300 kilometers of walking. There is also a table, so you can compare your results with other users and motivate yourself to perform better. You can purchase GMR directly in the game, the icon will take you to the adidas.cz website.

Adidas itself claims on its website that GMR was created in collaboration with Google and EA Sports. The company also states on its website that the Jacquard Tag is equipped with a gyro sensor, accelerometer and processor. It also manages to measure movements typical of football with the help of several algorithms. In addition to the number of kicks, running speed and kilometers covered, it can also reportedly measure shot speed. To make everything fit together, you will need GMR, the FIFA Mobile game, the GMR application and, of course, your own training. Since the Jacquard Tag has its own firmware, we can probably expect some improvements in the future. The tag is then charged via micro USB and data is transferred using Bluetooth. If you play football or are a football fan, you will probably be really excited about a similar product. The price of GMR is 899 CZK.
Does anyone know if FIFA Mobile is necessary for the chip to work? I would like to use the chip only for training analysis, just like MiCoach used to do, but I don't know if it's even possible without the fifa...
