While just a few years ago the term streaming platform was known more among a few enthusiasts and most people continued to happily stick to TV programs, time has moved on and the situation is slowly turning around. Even major broadcasters are gradually turning to streaming content, and subscribers to Netflix and Disney+ are skyrocketing. And no wonder, for a fraction of the price, all these platforms offer above-standard entertainment and, above all, a plethora of options to pass the time. However, there are plenty of similar services and most people are confused about which one is the best and the most beneficial. Well, we have good news for you. We have prepared for you an overview of the largest platforms and a proper comparison, which will help you choose the service with the richest program.

Netflix
The largest, most popular and by far the most widespread platform boasts more than 167 million subscribers and a relatively favorable price of $8.99 per month, i.e. approximately 199 crowns per month. This is an extremely favorable price, given the incredibly rich content and number of original series and movies, which is unmatched in this regard. Netflix itself produces and produces a constellation of its own films, which rank alongside Hollywood films in terms of quality and have more than once broken records or placed in prestigious rankings. A prime example is Black Mirror, an excellent show about a dystopian sci-fi future and how technology is intertwined with our lives. In short, everyone will find something for themselves, and believe us, you will definitely not be bored.

With the birth of this service, the term "binge watching" also came into use, i.e. watching an entire series or program in one sitting. So if you are looking for the widest possible selection, the choice is absolutely clear in this case. However, the platform also has several other advantages, including the ability to create up to 5 profiles on one account and notchat for example, your loved ones or friends, let them choose their favorite series and movies themselves. Thanks to advanced algorithms, the service also recommends other things that you might potentially like. The user interface is also pleasant, as it is intuitive and runs on almost everything. So whether you want to watch your favorite movie on TV, in a browser, on your phone or even on a tablet, you will not have any problems with the control anywhere. The only limitation is that one account can be assigned maxat least 6 devices. And if you want to enjoy higher resolution and the ability to watch on up to 2 screens, you can choose the Standard plan for 259 CZK per month, which has HD quality. Pro distinction Ultra For HD and the ability to watch on up to 4 devices at once, we recommend paying a few extra crowns and choosing the Premium subscription for 319 crowns per month. However, you don't have to worry, Netflix offers a free one-month trial version without having to pay anything up front.
HBO GO and HBO NOW
An equally important player on the market is HBO, which has entered the streaming market with relative vigor. In essence, it offers two slightly different services, which, however, offer more or less the same content and options. While HBO GO targets subscribers with a cable or satellite connection using standard television, HBO NOW builds exclusively on the online version without the need for any additional TV programs. It is probably not necessary to say too much about the offer itself, who does not know Game of Thrones, which comes from the HBO workshop and which was available exclusively for this streaming platform. In addition to this gem, the service can also boast of the excellent series Westworld, the dark and depressing Outsider or The Handmaid's Tale, which had a considerable influence on the cinematographic scene. HBO thus has both its own original works and series that are also available on other platforms. There is also a children's section, where you can find all kinds of fairy tales, animated films and pleasant canapés for even the little ones.
The only drawback remains the price, which is still relatively high by our standards compared to the offer. You can get HBO GO for as little as 159 crowns per month, but if you want to go for a double package and also get a subscription to HBO NOW, it will get really expensive and the price will go up to 14.99 dollars, i.e. about 370 crowns. In addition, this media giant also heavily relies on foreign talk shows and various comedy programs, such as Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. However, if you have money to spare and are going to take advantage of the offer for cable TV as well, the service from HBO the ideal choice. There is a free month, the ability to watch on up to 3 devices at the same time and support for almost all devices, including smart TVs, phones, tablets, Apple TV a Chromepart.
Apple TV+

Last but not least, there is a rather controversial platform that users either love or hate. A streaming service from the workshop Applu offers a number of its own original shows, including the dystopian See, the uncompromising The Morning Show, and the diversity-celebrating Little America series. However, the highlight is the remarkable film Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, which focuses exclusively on the fate of the developers of a popular MMO and is currently one of the platform's main drivers. In addition to this handful of successful, but relatively short series, Apple TV+ cannot boast of a nearly as extensive offer as Netflix or HBO. Fortunately, the service compensates for this lack with a price of 139 CZK per month. The plan naturally includes all the benefits and options, so there is no need to pay extra for better variantu. ProThe downside, on the other hand, is the short trial that lasts only 7 days, which is quite weak compared to the competition.
However, the platform compensates for the shortcomings of the business model and the significant lack of content with its technical side, which is extremely remarkable. If you have the necessary hardware, you can watch movies and series in 4K, with HDR and surround sound. Dolby AtmosIn addition, Apple TV+ has received wide support for various devices, so you won't be left behind, even if you own, for example, a FireTV from Amazonu. Of course, there is support for smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, Mac and Apple TVThe service is also generous in terms of the number of connected devices, allowing you to pair up to 6 at a time and stream on all of them at the same time. One way or another, this fact does not compensate for the fact that Apple TV+ in short, they get tired after a short time, and although the apple company has a whole series of exclusive contracts with famous names planned, we will have to wait for some time. That is, if you do not receive a subscription "packaged" with the purchased one Apple device or you do not use the student tariff s Apple Music, thanks to which you have a free platform, we recommend waiting a little longer and giving preference to Netflix or HBO. It all depends on you and which program offer appeals to you more.

thanks to sc cz/sk, netflix and hbo there is something to watch. atv+ is worth the fart.
don't be offended, but don't be offended if you can't do better
I understand the problem with the price at HBO. It is cheaper than Netflix, although it has less content, but more content in CZ, including dubbing or subtitles.
With HBO GO, there is no need for any other channels, everything works perfectly without anything. Just create an account and pay freely.
For me, the price is more interesting than Netflix.
But the video quality is terrible….
Netflix and Apple TV+ is two steps further in this...
Stream Cinema leads… for 600 a year and has everything from HBO, Netflix and more..Apple TV + I got a year's free iPhone, you know why.
