Football game fans are not shying away from mobile devices either. In App You can find both FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer and it must be said that these are good football games. In terms of gameplay, however, there is another winner according to many, and that is the Dream League Soccer football game from the First Touch Games studio. Yesterday, a new version was released with the name 2020. So what's new? Anyone who knows this game will definitely be excited. It is still the same Dream League Soccer, but it comes with some new features. Some are good, some are less successful. So let's take a look.

As always, when you first start the game, you name your team and choose a captain, when you have a choice of around nine well-known players with an overall of around 80. You are then placed in the lowest league and try to fight your way to the top. At the outset, I would like to draw attention to one innovation that I really welcome. You can only buy players whose quality matches your league. So it can no longer happen that a player buys gold coins and brings the biggest superstars of world football to his club, playing in the last league.

The game controls are identical to the previous installments. So die-hard players click through the introductory tutorials in a flash and get into the game. At first glance, you can notice the redesigned animations of the players, which now look much more natural in my opinion. The graphics have also been improved, emphasizing the play of light and shadow especially on the players on the field. I'm not going to rate how similar the players are to each other. As I've played about 8 games, I only have Diego Costa in the squad, whose portrayal I really like and I'm looking forward to seeing how the other players will look.

Artificial intelligence and the performance of the opponent's goalkeeper have also been slightly improved. You won't score so easily now. If I would like to criticize something, it is the playing of penalties, corners and set pieces. Penalties and penalty kicks are now played with the help of a small arrow located near the ball, and I must say that scoring is noticeably more difficult, and I myself have not yet converted either of the two penalties. The horns are also played somewhat differently. In these situations, the player is offered the classic "TV view", where the corner is again directed using the player's arrow. However, if I really welcomed any new feature, it is the possibility of quick switching. In short, the game itself will offer you a quick replacement of the player who has a "tongue in the vest" during some animation in the upper right corner. This eliminates the need to go to the menu. I also appreciate the behavior of the players after scoring goals. It used to really get on my nerves how players would roll on the ground after scoring goals even at 9-0 and celebrate as if they had scored a victory in the last minute of the Champions League final.

There is a lot of news

But there are even more novelties. We have a new currency here – crystals. You can use them to improve the training center, advertising department or medical services. With partial improvements, your players will heal faster, you will have more money per match and so on. At the beginning of the game you will receive 1500 gold coins and 75 crystals. You receive gold coins for matches, crystals for seasonal challenges and also, for example, in eventeh, which is another new feature. But I haven't been able to try it out yet, because the game won't let me play it because I haven't played enough matches. The cups have also undergone minor changes, specifically the Global Challenge Cup. It is now divided into 32 groups of 4 teams. So there are XNUMX teams in the game miniat least 128. However, it is quite possible that, similar to previous years, you will be able to play against legends or some kind of world championship. The new solution for improving players is also interesting. While in previous years you could improve specific players with gold coins, today this is done with the help of crystals. Improvements can also be made with the help of trainers, who are divided into Common, Rare and Legends. Rare and Legends can be bought for crystals. Each trainer can then be further divided into technique, fitness and goalkeeper trainer. Common trainers, i.e. the ones you will probably use most often if you don't want to invest money in the game, are obtained by terminating contracts with players. In the case of trainers, however, a random player is improved.

In short and well, if you are a fan of this game, you probably already have it downloaded. If you are not, you like football and simple controls, don't be afraid to try Dream League Soccer 2020.
