Do you still remember the old text-based games and adventure games, where imagination played a role and basically there was no visual aspect to tell you what the surrounding environment looks like? You had to answer everything by choosing from the set options, or with your own sentences, according to which the game continued. Although this is a relic of the distant past, there are still developers who have a soft spot for such titles. One of them is Nick Walton, who is behind a project called AI Dungeon, which will take you back to the past.
AI Dungeon 2 is publicly released! You can download it on iOS now and Android in another day or two. As a holiday gift we've decided that it will be completely free until the end of the year so try it out now! https://t.co/bed8zMJrbr

Imagine if there was a game where you could do absolutely anything and you weren't limited by pre-programmed mechanics or graphics. That's what the creator of AI Dungeon, Nick Walton, thought, and he's been working on his little project for a while now. The game is entirely text-based and it's up to you what environment you choose, who you want to play as, and what else you want to do in the world.oneA wealth of possibilities awaits. The only criterion is the setting, which you choose at the beginning. You will have the choice of a fantasy setting, a mysterious world, apocalyptic games, zombie mode, or a completely undefined genre, where you will be limited only by your own imagination. Behind everything is an extremely sophisticated artificial intelligence, based on deep learning, which will continuously adapt to your pace during the game and provide feedback in real time.
The only drawback is of course the time it takes for the computer to evaluate the response. Sometimes you have to wait a few seconds before a menu with new options appears. Either way, it is a rather interesting concept that will keep you entertained for a good few hours and, above all, gives you room for experimentation.onec ends, nochat Telling yourself a story with an unpredictable AI sounds like something you can kill quite a bit of time with. Plus, the game is temporarily free on App Store, therefore we recommend giving this initiative aanci.
