SpaceX will test the effects of microgravity on cannabis on the ISS

Sometime next spring, SpaceX plans to send a cargo to the International Space Station that will include industrial hemp, which contains a lower amount of THC. It is being sent into space by the company Front Range Biosciences. The hemp will spend 30 days in an incubator and will be observed remotely. After returning to Earth, the RNA will be examined. All this will be done for one purpose – the effect of microgravity and cosmic radiation on plant cells.
