Do you still remember the old programming language Karel, which was created in the 80s and served as a teaching aid? The developer behind it was Richard E. Pattis, who wanted to pay tribute to Karel Čapek and his word robot. KoneAfter all, that's what the whole program was about – learning programming using a simple robot that you gave instructions to. If everything was correct, the program carried out the instructions and you had a reason to celebrate after a long time of effort. Ubisoft was inspired by this game and created its own version, which is intended primarily for educational purposes.
FrancThe Ouza gaming company is known primarily for its legendary series such as Assassin's Creed or Far Cry, but it has also produced several other notable works. These include the saga starring cute furry rabbits, which is appropriately called Rabbids. While most of the games in this series belonged more to the adventure genre, now Ubisoft has come up with something different and no less unique. It is the game Rabbids Coding!, which aims to teach younger children how to program and think logically. Prim will mainly play the campaign, thanks to which even the youngest will master basic algorithms and functions. Unlike the robot Karl, however, it will be a simple drag-and-drop of instructions, so no code will need to be written.
The main goal of the player will be to clean the space station from naughty rabbits and restore order. Of course, there will be a sandbox mode, where you will have complete freedom in using instructions, and in fact you can force the furry animals to do anything. We'll see if Ubisoft will manage to impress and show the magic of programming to both younger and older players. In any case, this is a respectable initiative that, with a little luck, could start to bear fruit. So if you want to plunge into the technical world and learn the basics, but are afraid of someoneIf you're looking for a way to learn and master the basics of coding, Rabbids Coding! is the game for you. Plus, it's completely free for PC at official website company, so don't hesitate and try programming with these well-known furry ones. You just need to have Uplay to get it. Given how undemanding the title is, there is no point in listing its technical requirements either. You can start it with a little exaggeration even on a calculator.
