If there is a product that I really like, it is wireless headphones. My first one was right away AirSubs. ProI had a bit of a hard time reviewing them, as I haven't come across any better wireless headphones. So I was very pleased when I got the chance to review the Jabra Elite 85H. Although I'm not a fan of headphones, as I don't like their design, the sound is always the most important thing, and it's great.

Packaging and appearance

But first, the contents of the package. The headphones arrived in a nice box, in which I found a USB-C toonektor, cable with 3,5 mm plugs and a case with headphones. I would like to highly praise the case. It is covered with artificial leather and is very pleasant to look at and touch. The headphones themselves are made of very comfortable materials and are a pleasure to wear in their own way. The edges of the ear cups are made of soft foam, which is covered with leatherette. The inside of the arch is also made of the same material. The outside of the headphones is then made mainly of plastic covered with fabric. There is a button on the bottom of each ear cup. Pressing the button on the left side turns the active noise cancellation, or noise cancellation, on and off. ANC. The button on the right side summons the voice assistant. This side also houses theonektor USB-C for charging and 3,5mm koneThere are also buttons that are only slightly highlighted on the fabric on the sides of the ear cups. These are classics such as increasing or decreasing the volume, skipping tracks, accepting and rejecting calls, or pausing playback.

Pairing and application

It's kind of up to you how the headphones play

Activating the headphones is very simple. Just take them out of the case, unfold them and position the ear tips. Then you need to install the Jabra Sound+ app from App Store or Google Play. Then you turn on the application, select the Jabra Elite 85H headphones and you're done. The added value of these headphones is the aforementioned application. It is very comprehensive and thanks to it, it is up to you how the headphones will play. In the main menu, you have 4 profiles on the side. My moment, In private, In traffic, In public. As soon as you click on it, the sound will automatically switch to this mode. You can then continue to adjust it in it. In each of these four modes, the option to activate ANC, the ability to hear your own speech in the headphones thanks to the HearThrough function or No Sound Mode, which only depends on how you put on the headphones. There is also an equalizer where you can manually adjust the bass, mid-range and treble. So if you know your way around, you can adapt the sound of the headphones to your image. Pro For the rest of us, there are Speech, Bass Boost, Treble Boost, Smooth and Energize profiles, which have preset values on the equalizer.

A thorough review of the application is almost essential for perfect use of the headphones. In addition to the already mentioned, there is also a function Find My Jabra, when the application detects the location of the last connection of the headphones. Their firmware is also updated through the application or here you have a clear graphic representation of where all the buttons on the headphones are located, how to use them and what they are for. As I said, you need to get to know the application thoroughly. Some may mind the absence of Czech localization, but you will very soon master all the elements anyway.

Sound

The sound is the main thing. And it's great. At the beginning of the article I mentioned that I don't like the design of the headphones. In this case I didn't care, the sound is so good that AirThe pods went into a drawer for a few days. The sound is clean, punchy, dynamic. There is no problem with the highs or lows. The bass sounds great. MaxThe minimum volume is more than sufficient. I myself have always been at values around 80%. Technology ANC works beyond my expectations. I tried snapping my fingers in front of my head, and to my surprise, after turning on this function, I really didn't hear anything. So I went out into the field and thanks to this magic, you simply don't notice your surroundings and you are surrounded only by great music. Here I would like to point out possible problems. The technology works and works really well. When maximal volume in combination with ANC You don't hear cars, shouting and generally lose focus on what's going on around you. Proconsider where ANC Enjoy and think mostly about your health.
