Photos from space never cease to amaze. This stunning shot of the International Space Station was captured by photographer Rainee Colacurcio. It used the special H-Alpha solar telescope to capture the photo. Timing was essential. The ISS orbits the Earth every 90 minutes. The photo became a hit with astronomers and was immediately featured on the Astronomy Picture of the Day website maintained by NASA.
