Another thing is the mentioned rinse, I don't know an automatic coffee machine that doesn't have a rinse. I haven't even experienced the sort of sleep patterns that someone mentioned here to support the idea. Each coffee machine has a timer and the coffee machine is flushed for hygienic reasons when it starts and when it is switched off (sleep mode for some). So, in the morning, turn on the device, rush to put the mug, hops in bed and quickly set up the coffee production.
Appka is fine. Making coffee with it is crap, it's faster to press on the coffee machine's display, but for example with Delonghi you can set your own drinks (coffee, milk ratios, quantity, time and temperature) and they are then saved as other drinks in the coffee machine's menu.
