According to the latest survey by Vanson Bourne, which was supposed to map user and business satisfaction with Mac, it can Apple boast a very interesting lead. The entire survey was mainly focused on employeesance, their productivity and creativity. An incredible 97% of respondents said their ability to focus on work improved after switching to a Mac, and other positive findings follow suit.
If you ask Mac users, most will tell you that it's perfect for work. Fortunately, this is not just an advertising slogan, and the whole system is seriously adapted to work on it as efficiently and as best as possible. At the same time, this was proven by a high percentage of respondents claiming that their creativity has increased significantly, corresponding to 95% of users. Exactly 94% then stated that they were able to function properly with the technology and quickly got used to it. The last place, despite a large percentage, was a better ability to cooperate with others. This was highlighted by 91% of respondents.

Three-quarters of people said that their work wouldn't be nearly as smooth and efficient if they didn't have a Mac at their disposal. There is nothing unusual about this, since Apple values its closed ecosystem and offers almost perfect connectivity between phonesonewith a laptop. So, if you get used to a certain integrity of both systems and mutual cooperation between them, back to Windows you won't want to just do it. The icing on the cake is the absence of any significant problems with the device. In twelve months of use, 70% of users only experienced two or fewer problems related to functionality, and the rest were mainly Internet-related, so they were not so much related to the device itself. It is quite interesting how products from Appcustomers are looking at. Opponents often argue about the price, but a certain tax for convenience is more than worth it in this case. What do you think of the survey? Would you choose Mac again, or would you rather prefer Windows?
S windows we grew up and I don't think we were a little productive. It also depends on what field a person works in. The survey was done in America, as here people wouldn't even know what a Mac is. :-)
This survey is pretty silly. As a professional, I am productive in the given application and it doesn't matter what the application is running in, my performance is made by the program, not the operating system in the background.
Interesting, do you work with one program?
I would sleep on Windows he was vomiting very hard. As a professional, I use several applications and control them through macbook (perfect trackpad, touch bar, display) and a very well tuned, functional and quite simple robinz work pleasure system. I also see the aforementioned connection of all devices (iPad, iPhone, watch).
My speech, windows they called me several times every week that they stopped and twisted the waiting box. In retrospect, I also perceive applications on windows like a pile of scrap compared to the polished pieces on the mech. Moreover, the application MicrosoftThey behave much more cultured than in their home enclosure.
All this results in undisturbed peace of mind at work :-)
Then again, it must be admitted that sometimes the rainbow wheel can also be seen in MacOS X.. yes, polished pieces? Mainly those from Adobe, however..
Picking up the touchbar is probably a diagnosis.
Productive superfluities. On a Mac, YouTubers edit videos, musicians play music, and wedding photographers retouch photos. In real professions that make the world around you, like engineering, construction, science, you have to windows, because there isn't really any of that on the mac. Even the famous one apple the park was made on windows :-))
Well, I wonder how they measured the increase in productivity or creativity. I switched to a Mac two years ago. The machine and hardware are solid, but the operating system is unfortunately far from efficient, or rather it depends on the type of work. When it comes to software development, which is a significant part of my time, it is an efficient and good machine (terminal, docker etc. everything works fine). But if you have to prepare an offer for a customer where you need to work with larger tables in MS Office, or interact with documents from the world in any way MicrosoftWow, that's really painful. ExcelA spreadsheet that has multiple sheets and over 100 cells with formulas is incredibly slow (Mac book pro i7 quad core 16GB ram), on old Windows and on a desktop PC, which is significantly less powerful (i5 8G ram), the application runs perfectly fine, opening the document itself is up to twice as fast. It is absolutely sad that starting the virtual machine via parallels desktop and opening Excelhere it is faster varianta than native applications on macOS (I understand that it is an application problem, but customers demand this format). Another decent blow to efficiency is Thunderbolt 3 and the inability of the OS to live dock station with dual displayport. The funny thing is that the HW can do it again, because bootcamp and Windows On a Mac, this will allow you to connect two monitors at once without any problems, especially for the first time. On Mac OS, you must have, in addition to the docking station even more reduction (another liter of money) to expand the configuration (to one cable, charging and two monitors). The connection itself is also far from effective work, often dock I'm connecting 5x because one of the monitors is flickering. Summary Mac has great HW, but the OS has a lot of room for improvement. I understand that the ecosystem is going through a iPhonem is great, but the lack of support for some standards is pretty bad (e.g. DLNA stream to TV vs. only Air play, Samba koneactivity, after maxI'm at 50% write speed with minimal tuning properties Windows – Mac 30MB/s Windows 59MB/s).
So you unfinished Office Mac is mainly a credit MicrosoftI suspect that it is perhaps done on purpose.
I have something to do with it. excelwhat is the problem Windowswell, as soon as there is a lot of data in the cells and I'm afraid I'm going to create a graph, it totally crashes, that's just the optimization from Microsoftoh, what a pity Excel how is that a big deal...
Whatever she wanted, she got it.
The biggest pain point on the Mac for me is the keyboard, and it definitely made me less productive. Switching between two windows of the same application is also not very intuitive, etc. I was switching from Linux and I have to say I expected a lot more.
So I have exactly the same experience as in the article. Transitioning people from Windows and Linux to MacOS.
Highlights:
Lack of maintenance
Proconnection with iPhone ipad
iCloud
AirDrop
Unix in the background
Application speed
OS and SW auto-update
Security
No antivirus
and more …
All in all, simply a competitive advantage over companies on Win. ;)
… security? Voice of the day. :)
I like to believe this survey. When a person knows that just for the monitor stand of his vulture, the butt of the computer will roll out a thousand dollars, it works like a screw :-)
The survey was conducted only in the form of a questionnaire, that is, there is no objectivity as it is a well-known fact that Appthe leaves are quite interested. Jirka described his experiences with both systems above, his observations and experiences are more relevant than the whole survey about nothing.
I work regularly on Mac and on Windows and I feel like throwing Mac out of the window about 3x more often.
I only came into contact with Mac at my new job, and even after six months, I'm still struggling with it. Personally, it works terribly badly for me, I don't understand people who prefer it for work (everything takes much longer on it than on Windowseh, or on Linux). But I admit, I'm getting old now and 20 years at Windech is just taking its toll on me.
The Mac has many of its own problems that definitely don't add to productivity. Native apps often have significant bugs and Apple it definitely does not remove them briskly. Personally, what bothers me the most is the incredibly slow work with network folders (SMB and AFP) in the Mac environment.
I am 43 years old. macbook pro 17 two years...before I only had win...but after two years I know one thing...win won't enter my apartment anymore and neither does anyone with win...simply win has STOP signs on the entrance...brak is slowly getting stuck...how nervous have I been on win...now it's been two years of mac and it's quiet, peace, speed...godcloud drive
I hope that the program I need will soon be available on windowsso that I can give appGoodbye.
