Long gone are the days when podcasts were just a sideline. Currently, not only professionals but also ordinary users or even bloggers, who until now let their photos and articles speak for themselves rather than their voice, are devoted to podcasts. Company Apple decided to help aspiring podcasters and organized new educational blocks for them as part of the program Today at Apple.

The thirty-minute course is called “Music Skills: Creating Your First Podcast”, and its participants can learn the basics of recording, editing and improving trailers for their podcasts using music and audio loops. The course does not aim to be a comprehensive guide to podcast creation from A to Z, but it can be a useful source of information for those who want to get started with podcasts.

Currently, the podcast-focused course is only held in-store. Apple at Chicago's Michigan Avenue, starting May 20. Along with the course, an exclusive podcast called “Voices of Chicago” will also be launched, which will air in the Chicago store throughout May. The podcast will feature prominent figures from the Chicago community who will share their stories and advice on broadcasting. For more information about the upcoming podcast, see here.
